I'm excited to see this because I contemplated selling mine and getting a CRV one, but I know they are weaker than the Jaguar one. Now, I feel like I can finish my project and get in my car on the road using what I wanted from the beginning. Thanks S1

MERRY CHRISTMAS TOO THE S1FAM YA SE MI❤
@tonyd716417 күн бұрын
Hey, merry christmas. I'm guessing the other benifit of this diff over a crv is the elimination of the clutch pack. No more locking the pack or running thicker fluid.
@sones1built19617 күн бұрын
@tonyd7164 That is correct. There is no need for clutch locking block or plate.. As far as the fluids. You could run thicker fluid with these diff because these diff are stronger

Damn and I thought ppl weren't breaking the OEM Honda rear diffs and cvs. There's always someone pushing the limits 😂 What was the setup that broke things in the rear? High rpm launch at high boost and a prepped surface?
@sones1built19618 күн бұрын
Definitely breaking crv diff with higher cst fluids in the viscous coupler. We seen wagon diff break on high horsepower car.
@SVtuned18 күн бұрын
We started breaking crv diffs at no prep races on radials around 750-850 whp. The jag I have run over 900 whp on and it’s fine. Only issue I had was I broke the cv shafts and that was at the heat treat line where I had to remove material to get correct length. But they did last a whole season with rock auto trash axles lol.
@vleetv17 күн бұрын
@@SVtuned if using the jag rear diff, would you still use a viscous coupler as a direct swap for the crv or does it have a slip mechanism like the wago diff?
@SVtuned17 күн бұрын
@ still use a viscous coupler. This diff fits so close it only requires you to move the viscous mount back about 1” if using a single slip yoke. Also there is a 1310 adapter for s2000 that mounts to this diff.

Would these work with the hub city kit as well?
@sones1built19618 күн бұрын
Not sure without testing it with there diff mount. It won't with their arms because we are planning on making 28 (36mm) splines outer hubs for the axles to use not the 23 splines hub that they use.
@speedwayengineering45718 күн бұрын
Just want to confirm this, must you still use the viscous coupler ?
