2025 Grand Cherokee is powered by a 293-hp, 3.6-liter V-6. Rear-wheel drive is standard. Several different all-wheel-drive systems are available, including an electronically locking limited-slip differential. A Trailhawk model with more robust off-road equipment and greater capability features an adjustable air suspension that provides up to 11.3 inches of ground clearance and a disconnecting anti-roll bar that allows greater wheel articulation for tackling difficult terrain. Interestingly, the quickest Grand Cherokee is the 4xe, reviewed separately, which leaps to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds and reaches a quarter-mile in 13.9 seconds at 100 mph. At our test track, a V-6-powered Summit test vehicle managed a respectable 7.4-second run to 60 mph. The Grand Cherokee is impressively composed, and it's got an exceptionally smooth ride.
