My wife currently has a ‘19 Grand Cherokee and loves it. For the past almost year or so she’s really been pushing to get a new one as she likes the newer style even more. Glad to see prices come down and possible rebates going on, because now we might actually get one.

I owned a 2022 Grand Cherokee 4xE for a year - super nice vehicle - and I would probably still have it if it wasn't a 4xE - had some serious hybrid issues. They are super sick looking and very nice interiors in the higher trim levels. They do have a lot of extra little trim pieces that are a real pain to replace properly if you have hail damage (16000 Canadian in trim and hood damage). Has some serious issues with the infotainment and Apple - but that seems common in any Jeep I have owned.

Jeep sales are way down per Kirk’s video today. But this is a nice deal, sweet spot in terms of size, not huge but not small, NA V6. Like the Pathfinder, suffers from competition. It’s definitely saturated. Jeeps also suffer from low reliably reputation. Kinda like people think all Nissans are bad b/c of their cvts, which isn’t true.

My Grand Cherokee 4xE was in the shop for almost 50% of the year I owned it. And they didn't even have a formal fix for all of the recalls before I traded it in for a GMC Canyon.

I bought a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with the 5.2 V8 with 100k miles for 3800. Engine purrs and seems to have all its ponies. I get 11.7 MPG around town LOL. I've put about 5 K into her, tires and stuff a solid rig! With that said I do like the new ones.

Test drove one the other day and I was surprised at how smooth it was. Engine moved swiftly and it swallowed up bumps like you were in smooth luxury ride. Coming from a CX-5 where the engine struggles to move and each bump in the road is a harsh crack to your spine lol

Ben, in my opinion you not compare this to the Bronco because this is a unibody suv vs a body on frame suv on the bronco and this going for a more luxurious theme even though these two are both off-road capable suvs

They look amazing and have the tech and luxury features you'd typically only find in a $95k and up vehicle. Unfortunately, my 2023 Overland 4xe is a lemon and is being bought back. They have such great potential, but so many well documented issues, it's no wonder they aren't selling. It really is too bad because I don't know of any other vehicle in its class that's pushing 375hp and over 400ft lb of torque, all while getting incredible MPG. The point is... buyer beware.

IMO Jeep reliability scares me and my friends away from buying. I always loved the jeep grand Cherokee, but would never buy one because I'm afraid it will die on me around 80K

@wesleyberry3670 yeah? The lease for my Jeep Overland is 570/ month. If I was financing it, I would have paid 1200 at 6% interest rate. How much am I saving per month? Close to 600, and for 36 months, it would be 21600. You already saved 21600. After 6 years, would your car value at 21.5K, probably not. In this economy, lease is the best option

Why bother taking it for a test drive if all you are going to do is go around the block with it? I truly believe you were a car salesman before because that is exactly how salesmen want you to test drive cars. If you aren't going to drive it on the highway to check for things like wind noise, handling, acceleration at speed, etc. then save us the time and yourself the trouble of even starting it up.

There is a solid reason for those discounts. a) it is a Jeep made Stalantis also known as FIAT. Commonly known as Fix It ... If you know the name of this brand sold many times by its parent companies! Do I like this of course I do. But it is extremely unreliable.
