Been living in NJ my whole life. This is the answer, and it just so happens that we're in close proximity from NY to always face the heat of every exchange. And NJ people are just as insecure & prideful as New Yorkers. If all the federal government collapsed and all 50 states suddenly were independent & self-sustaining, it'd not take long for NY and NJ to go to war with each other.

Been living in NJ for a while now and the driving experience can be summed up pretty easily. Any car worth more than $100k will be driving 10 under the limit in the left lane no matter how empty the road, and any car worth less than $10k will be doubling the limit no matter how much traffic there is. Big main character syndrome on both ends.

NJ resident here-- worst car enthusiasts here are infinity/Nissan guys and New bimmer guys. Oldheads with anything older than 2008 are usually pretty cool but anything e90 and newer? You're getting straight pipes, burble tunes, and they're all gonna be like 18-24. That and truck guys. They're the ones who WILL fight you over nothing. The cops don't like you at all and do everything in their power to bag you and the infrastructure is horrible. The road are overpoliced too-- there's only a handful of places to go properly drive and they're packed with cops.

The event takes place July 21st - 23rd and there's a car show on Saturday. people from Ohio, PA, and New York are gonna be there so its a good place to get some opinions from people from all over.
