JFK X was a good take on the faked death narrative. In the movie you can clearly see JFK put something on his face after the supposed throat shot. Apparently back then squibs were detonated via strings, which they argue explains why the bottom edge of the zapruder film is barred out. It's arguably the highest quality version of the zapruder film colorized and can clearly see something on JFK's face, the sun makes a visible shadow.

After reading the book Seven Days in May (1962) about an attempted military coup against a USA president, JFK supported the filming of part of it at the White House in 1963, he felt he had to warn the American people! It is true that JFK felt he could have been assassinated on the 21/11/63. And on the morning of the 22/11/63 before going to Dallas, he again raised the possibility when speaking to his wife. JFK thought that way because behind the scenes he had major disagreements with the CIA (after the Bay of Pigs fiasco) and with his military chiefs. This is well documented in books by C. Fletcher-Prouty, Douglas Horne, James Douglas, David Talbot, etc.
