When you harvest the peanuts, can the discarded plants be used for anything, like livestock feed?

Yes we bale the straw and leaves that come out the back of the combine for livestock feed

What is the purpose of having twin wheels on just the rear, as opposed to having twin wheels on both the rear and front? 😊

All depends on how much traction you want. But there are also some equipment that are very wide but don’t require traction so you just put on rear duals to keep the tractor and equipment more level

Normally you don’t get many animals eating your peanuts and if there are there’s nothing you can do about it. The only pests are wild pigs but even then it’s takes quite a few days for them to smell it so basically it rare

No I haven’t found any glitches but it has good battery until I try to do a 2 hour long time lapse then it drains about twice as fast. But other than that love it no complaints

The Tractor would need to take the Place of 2 wheel tractors to get a return, as in pulling a bigger tool more efficiently.

We spread our We eat out before we plow up our peanuts and after we plow them up and pick them it starts growing Rent A stock chopper to do the same thing with your cotton

Yea a neighbor of ours does that with his peanuts. But majority of our cotton acres will be plowed to make ready for peanuts. If we would do cotton on cotton we would plant wheat and later use a stalk cutter

For us around here it works really well. We like the row crop tractors. A 9rx series wouldn’t work as good as this 8rx series but I agree crazy expensive

🦜au - they where farming peanuts in top tropics Qld Australia (Straya we say ) & wud loose crops yeilds due to tropic storms Anyway . . . they bought land in middle OZ Near alice springs HOT useless land . texas is a bit the same they did the big circle crops with Bore water boom sprays & got better yields over the years no bad weather
