There is also an interesting , maybe smoother alternative to this - Novellista - Velvet Dusk. I feel like it is less fresh and kinda smoother. But I am not a fan of any of those.

It will be difficult to replace Popeye/Superman/Andre and In the Navy editions! One European KZbinr mentioned that the performance of this one was poor, approximately 5 hours longevity....

Andre Edition and the Traveler's Exclusive Eau Fraiche until 2018 are all the same Eau Fraiche just different marketing, they are fairly unknown so prices are standard retail as long as stock is left. Otherwise just go with the OG Le Male :)

Your note breakdown is kinda wrong lol It indeed has violet leaf, this is the official list, which is regardless incomplete there is spice and other notes so I bet there's some of the OG Le Male such as Kardamom. On Board reminds on a fruity, aquatic variant of Le Male Le Parfum, the opening with the smoothed out sweetness and spiciness seems similair, but also a good parallel to Le Male Terrible from 2010 which was the OG Le Male with a bad boy twist having fruity fresh Grapefruit and pink pepper among many other additional notes. On Board is nice, but imo Tonkabean should have been replaced by vanilla, cedar and sandalwood. On Board will also remind many on Aviator and Le Beau as some of the key notes are the same (Bergamot, Violet leafs and Tonkabean) Top: Bergamotte Mid: Geranium, Violet leaf Base: Tonkabean, Amber

I think they’re only putting 3 frag notes available to the public so that people who are looking for a first fragrance they aren’t overwhelmed with fragrance notes as when i was purchasing my first i experienced this and made it confusing what it would smell like it might not be what experienced frag heads like but companies are trying to get as many sales as possible so from a marketing perspective it might draw newer people in with a simplified note breakdown
