New Juwel Rio 180 New Style Sbx Stand White

My new Juwel Rio 180 in white with new style stand looks great and an improvement on the old style because the end cupboards are now wider so you can fit bigger external filters in them :-)
The was a replacement for my Fluval F90 Aquarium which I really did not want to sell but needed just that little extra space the Rio now provides.
The aquarium was from Complete Aquatics Uk and was on sale from £475 down to £375 which was a very good price, I still got a further 5% off being a new customer so worked out great.
Also not many shops have got the new style stands in and ones I found only had them in beach.
Complete Aq is one of the only few places selling this in white at the moment.
I have added some Juwel Reflectors on each 45w T5 standard day light bulbs which look great.
Also added a Eheim StreamOn not (Stream Air) as I stated in the video sorry about that. It's only 3w 2000lph for aquariums from 35-200 litres. flow is great and they also do two other models a 4000 & 6000 If you need more LPH.
Only paid £24.99 again from Complete aquatics when they are £44.99 normally.
Love the Rio Aquarium I have always been a Fluval guy but the build quality on this I would say is better than Fluval. Also they look better than the Roma's and because Juwel offer more colour options I was able to get the white I wanted.

danster1988 it's a shame, I will say the tank is wicked and worth every penny, complete aquatics was where it was from cost £350 and I sold it for £230 only two months later, shocking I know but I'll have another one at some point. I've just got my Fluval spec now lol what i come down lol

I had the same fluval tank like your other got a shit load of views coz was one of the first to review it lol. That was a marine set up. Thanks for the old vid tho yours was the only one that's showed the cab underneath

danster1988 I love the Fluval F tanks I also has an m90 but never got that on KZbin Think I've had 7-8 aquariums in the space off 15 months and all started with a Fluval edge. What tank are you running now?

Dan Max I've had marine on and off for the last 8 years. reasons kids, work and moving lol so looking at discus. I did breed them about 10 years ago and they always been my favourite

I've always wanted to do a discus tank and was going to do it in the Rio 180 but didn't think 180 was enough long term so just kept it simple really. I will do a video of my spec soon lol

Hi Dan! I wonder if anyone can help me. I have a 200 litre Juwel Lido aquarium with lid and plastic rim, like yours. There are two slots at the back for intake and return, but only 20-22 mm deep. Can you tell me if I can fit through the adjustable flow adapter without cutting into the lid? Looks like you using the original pipes as well. I am planning to buy the same filer. Thanks!

Hi Peter, with the Oase Filter both the intake and output flow fitted with no cutting etc weather I used the spray bar or normal single outflow nozzle. Hope that helps

Sean Hernandez both tanks have there pros and cons depends if you want a open rimless tank or not really, can get the Jewel in other colours which some prefer, the Fluval F90 was my favourite out the two, the Rio is bigger in length by 10cm and with the lid makes it seem a much larger tank something to bear in mind if like me you only have a small living room 😊

danster1988 it was from my local maiden head aquatics and cost a whooping £52 but was worth it. Had to trim a little to get it to fit. Sad thing is a no longer have the tank or the wood 😫

Dan Max what happened to your tank? Think I will order the new cabinet so I can run both my eheim 2217 filters as well as a co2 fe setup.
