A “Muster” in the BTS sense, is the name given to a concert/gathering/fan event of BTS and Army, usually to celebrate the anniversary of their debut (June 13, 2013). Usually, the whole first two weeks of June every year is referred to as “Festa”, and they plan different events - new songs (often free), photos, merch, shows or sketches etc - these are usually released every couple/few days in the lead-up to Muster. It’s “muster”, like mustering the troops, because we (the fandom) are Army 😂 It’s quite cute 🥰

They ate something DIFFERENT this performance!! 😍🔥 Dimple is such a cute and catchy song, written by the one and only RM! He said he wrote it based on what he'd want to hear from other people about his dimples. So he wrote a song about his own dimples and got the vocal line to sing it to him. 😆 And Pied Piper is genius! It's essentially a sensual diss track to ARMY. 😅🤣 It's about how we spend too much time on BTS and need to live our own lives, yet at the same time they know we can't help it and so just follow the flute to them.

RM loves his dimples so, 'Dimple', is the song he wrote involving dimples. Then Pied Piper is them telling us that we don't stand a chance against them and their charms. I think this is the 5th Muster performance. It's theme was the Magic Shop and there is a wonderful sketch with them all trying to help Jungkook who is sad and lost by giving him tips but none of them work until he finds the shoes he used to wear in the early days. Jimin is the flirty shopkeeper. Yo will die when you see him. You can buy it from the Weverse Shop. It isn't expensive. I get goosebumps when they move into line an d do the sequence of body rolls. Muster is an army term for example, 'Muster the troops', so of course it suits BTS down to the ground.

People forget that these songs are on Love Yourself: Her. Dimple--something RM loves about himself. Pied Piper is layered. The Piper is doing their job(really well!), enchanting with music. 5th muster is their mustering of the ARMY for their 5th debut anniversary celebration. The debut anniversary is collectively called Festa, but Muster is a specific part of Festa. So there would also be a First Muster, and Sixth Muster and a Ninth Muster depending on how many years it has been since their debut.

A muster is a gathering of troops. A BTS Muster is geared towards ARMY (as opposed to the general public). In Musters, they'll perform b-sides, play games, and answer submitted questions. Musters are favoured for unique performances and much more chaotic energy.

Musters are concerts given during Festa which is the anniversary of BTS’s debut (6/12). They usually hold them in Korea and in Japan. You have to be an official fan club member to attend & tickets are by lottery based on member number which is submitted ahead of time. They do special stages, skits & special songs. In the past, they did fan greets as well where the guys would meet the fans.

BTS dubbed Muster as a "recruitment" event when they first held it... if I'm not mistaken this was the last one so who knows if they will be scheduling recruitment events again in the future. in the recent ones they scheduled this near their anniversary so many ARMYs relate it to FESTA (anniversary festivities) but it's really was created as separate fan meeting/concert

Muster has various meanings, but in the case of BTS, they use muster as a call to assemble the army, which is a military term. Quite appropriate -for the fandom name. So the 5th muster is a celebration of 5 years of BTS and Army. RM wrote the song Dimple as fun for his deep dimples. We are the same, lol will not survive watching them live.! Pied Piper, like the folklore, where the Pied Piper is called to town to rid the town of rats with his pipe, BTS is telling us to not to be overly lured by them, and to stick to your actual life of studying, work, etc. But we can't help it can we?

The easiest way to explain muster. mus·ter /ˈməstər/ verb (the gathering of troops) coming together for inspection or preparation of battle. "the cavalrymen mustered beside the other regiments" Since we are ARMY, it just made sense to call their concerts held during Festa a Muster. ☺💜
