Kershaw had 14c28n steel made for them, for their budget knives. it's the BEST budget steel around, yet they keep using that inferior mov steel. I really like that knife but would buy it IF it was in 14c28n . Thank you for showing some others of their budget line, great review. Blessings

I bought one for my 10-year-old son for Christmas. He's been begging me for a pocket knife for a while now and I know he will love it. I figure this one looks pretty cool, especially to a kid and cheap Kershaw's aren't too bad as far a quality goes either. And when he inevitably loses it, I won't be too upset about it. He wants a Benchmade custom, like the ones I carry. LOL! Yeah right, kid...

I considered this for a bit when I first saw it online because it looked cool and it still does for sure. I have learned that I'm not really a big fan of assisted opening knives at this point though and prefer a well made manual opener that is very smooth. Still might get this down the road for it's looks, but overall not for me. Good review and comparison though!!
