One thing that I absolutely love about your decorating is that you shop at all types of different stores when you are buying your decor items. You shop at stores that carry items from many price points. By doing so, you show that even people with smaller budgets can decorate their homes using your ideas as a guide. I know with every home that you restyle, makes the new owners so happy...you always leave a wonderful mark that no one should ever desire to change....I have to agree, that it is nice not to have the low maintenance, of yard work especially anymore ...As "young retired empty nesters", we love it too... A friend had a little Yorkie. He let it go out to potty. A Hawk swooped down, and carried his little dog off! So sad. I didn't know if you were aware of this happening, but it happens often. Just thought you may want to know, in case they are out, without you, when you get your fence. Love everything!

I opted for lamps instead of under cabinet lighting. A lamp can instantly change the flavor of my decor and I much prefer the warm lighting. Everything looks great. I gotta have pops of color though because it makes my eyes happy. I am really loving the cottage core twist to farmhouse because it doesn’t shy away from color. I love the size of your home.❤️

Liz this is so, so beautiful. I absolutely love the cabinets with the tops decorated. I decorate mine too. I think that has sort of gone out of style, but kitchen cabinets are just gorgeous when they are low enough to decorate the top of them and people actually do it. It just makes the kitchen. You are one of the best decorators on You Tube in my opinion. But you’re like me more is definitely less lol. That could be why I like your decorating so much. And yes those mountains are beautiful, and it is definitely Gods country.

I'm in the process of remodeling a smaller home in order to downsize. Actually, I've been doing this since the Spring of last year. Due to Covid , this process has been a very long endeavor. Finding a contractor to take on smaller scaled remodeling jobs, the absence of supplies or long delivery times has really set the completion time back. But I watch your videos and dream of how I'm going to decorate my new home when I am finally able to move in. It gives me hope and excitement!! You are truly inspirational and great at decorating.
