The e symbol is used to ensure the consumer is fully aware that the weight is compliant with the Weights and Measures Regulations 2006. Basically, the weight on the packet is within a small margin of inaccuracy.

Hi Gareth. Yes those 'shared room' stories are best kept for another time, another place. I can imagine the content. Wouldn't want to curl anyone's toes. The kebabs look really good. We have both lamb and beef too and the Chevupps are just as nice as the kebabs. I'll have to get some, or make my own. Id prefer dukkah spice with the lamb. Not to keen on the mint. Good review Baldie, as usual. Going to get some of that sauce from Farm Foods, thanks to you Sir. After once spending two weeks in Greece, with the family, I went straight to my English chip shop and had the best kebab ever, no one beats his. Peace be unto you.

Hi Gareth, I buy these kebabs, slice them up and have them in a wrap with lettuce, onion, cucumber and sour cream or yoghurt. One pack can make 4 big wraps. Quite a cheap meal.

Great review as always Gaz. Thanks. I had some minted kebabs from Tesco the other week (their Firepit range), you get two packs for 8 quid but they are 400g a pack. Had them with pitta and all the fixings and they were really good. Ok, not quite a kebab from a good a kebab shop but were pretty darn good...I'd give them 9 out of 10...give them a go if you get a chance.

Thanks for the review! If something needs a load of condiments, chilli sauce, onions, gherkins, cheese etc etc then you might as well save your money and buy cheap!

Crucial sauce comes in a decent range and all of them are great for the price, my favourites are the Chilli & Garlic and the Spicy Mayo. I haven't tried the Aldi kebab skewers but the Asda ones aren't very nice, the added mint ruins the lamb flavour for me.

My 'go to' BBQ sauce is ALDI spicy, 100% Australian tomatoes, BBQ. It has a kick but doesn't drown out the other flavors. Again they have hidden a lot of fat in them, 18.9% in the lamb and 20% in the beef. The fillers hide the fat, that's why they don't drip fat while cooking, chemistry.

for what you pay those sauces are pretty good so far iv had the spicey mayo , chilli & garlic , bbq and mint sauce , the last 3 are my faves atm , and the mint sauce is great 500ml for a quid or there abouts when you can pay that (or more) for a tiny jar ? , sod that ill have the crucials , its just a pity that lamb for some reason has gone stupidly expensive.

the e mark is actually an EU weights and measures standard...even though we are no longer in the EU we still use that system. its basically a guarantee of the accuracy of the weight of the product and to give consumers confidence the manufacturer isn't exaggerating the weight

Got to love Crucials sauces, same brand as they use in my local kebab place. Those kebabs didn't half shrink though, blimey. You should try the proper fresh mozarella that comes in little bags filled with water: worlds apart from the tasteless rubbery rusbbish they try to sell as 'mozarella', proper fresh tasting.

A good addition for BBQing but I wouldn't fancy them as a main meal. I've had these a few times from my local kebab take away and they were OK, nothing special. I recently splurge out on an air fryer and a mincer/sausage maker, so maybe I'll try to make my own. 🤔🤔. When I was checking out the ingredients I found that there's a restaurant on Canary Wharf that sells kebabs for..............,.wait for it.....,..........£925 😲😲. They are made from Wagyu beef, fresh morel mushrooms and 25 year old Italian vinegar. Doesn't sound too much like a kebab to me. 🤔🤔. As always, keep up the good work. 👍👍👍.

after frying some burgers i zapped them in the microwave for 2 minutes as the middles were a bit pink. i was surprised to see half an inch of fat in the plastic container. the same thing happened when i zapped kebabs after grilling them.

Last time I had a kebab I got it from a van by the train station. The best kebab I've ever had. I spent the rest of the weekend on the toilet, but well worth it. Sometimes you just need to make little sacrifices to enjoy a great kebab

Not impressed with the Wagyu burgers reviewed recently, tasted delicious but a few big bits of gristle. Next time I'll be running them through my mincing machine a couple times before cooking. Hopefully these kebabs taste good and don't have this problem.
