The difference between Tesla cars vs all others is software. It gets better and better no matter how old your car is. No other manufacturer has this claim.
@HanDuoS22 сағат бұрын
Yet...no autonomous driving level 5. What exactly dies go better and better? Or do you use this general claim while in reality nothing really gets better. It's like changing the font size and style and claiming that the content of a text got better and better.

Teslas get replaced just like a cellphone, every couple of years. They are not meant to be owned for years, unlike a gas car that can last 15 years with regular maintenance.
@HanDuoS21 сағат бұрын
@@kevinW826nonsense. A Tesla holds way longer and doesn't lose efficiency and needs minimum of maintenance. Only retards burn money by selling a good EV just to have the newest one which gives them zero new benefit. I know countless of people who bought and buy new ICEs and sell them after a few months to get newer models. Morons will be morons. ICE is dying.
@geo598220 сағат бұрын
Check your facts Teslas can do 1 million miles with almost zero maintenance (just tyres and wipers) The simplicity of the motor and low number of parts leaves any petrol/diesel behind, in all aspects, mechanical, speed, reliability. In few years elrctric cars will do 500 miles per charge and ICE cars will be like horses.
@kevinW82620 сағат бұрын
@@geo5982 let’s see one. Where are these supposedly 1 million mile cars? They are not on the road. The highest mileage being sold here in Canada has 350,000 kms on the body, but the battery was replaced over 100,000 kms ago. A lot of them have had the batteries go at 100,000 kms according to the ones trying to sell them. They are also asking retarded prices for them. $40,000 for a 2019 model 3 with 200,000 kms? Not a chance, that’s worn out, clapped out and scrap.

01:12 - since you don't understand that in a country such a big population everything is cheaper let me explain by example: Germany (2014-2024) Overall EV subsidy: €10-15 billion Per person: €120-180 China (2014-2024) Overall EV subsidy: ¥200-250 billion (€26-33 billion) Per person: ¥140-175 (€18-23) This also reveals that 86 million Germany subsidized with half as much as 1.41 billion China which has over 16 times more people. This means Germany subsidized its EV industry 8 times more than China...and Germany still has nothing.

BYD really needs to drop the Atto 3 and Dolphin price here. They are like $15K to $18K more than the price in china, way too much. Seal and Tesla prices are okay because its only $5K to $10K more depending on which model than prices in China.

were i live you get cold temperatures so if i want to know if the range is enough i take the round trip distance of the longest trip i take (except vacation or suc) then multiply by 2 for losses due to cold and if the range number i get is less than the range of the vehicle it is good enough. for myself the longest round trip i do is 78 miles so 156 miles is my needed range so thig vehicle qualifies for range needed so being i can home charge it would be a great vehicle except o live in the US and tariff's so a tesla would be cheaper for me where i am
@adrientucker594923 сағат бұрын
I'd like to propose a negative tariff on Chinese-made vehicles coming into America. Our current policies have made American auto makers either lazy or too comfortable with the monopoly they have in this country and willing to support politicians who will maintain the tariffs and raise them even higher for these purposes. We deserve a larger landscape of choices and our auto makers need to speed up their efforts to compete, not sit around and twittle their thumbs.

Might be a good buy in 12 months when the depression kicks in, these new brands won’t have much of a secondary market so you might get something near new for half the price

People won't buy just because it's cheaper, the thing you always fail to mention with all these Chinese cars is what is the dealer backup like, do they honour the warranty, are parts available quickly or will your car be sidelined for months and what is the resale price/second hand demand like. We simply don't know yet, these cars are still new to market, MG is perhaps the most known and their reputation for reliability and parts is already not great.

A lot of Chinese brands dumping into our open market now. I love our open market and the shakeout will be something else. 90+brands soon, in a small 1million/per annum car market. Bonkers!! Some of these brands dumping here, won't even survive in China. The smart bet is, to hold for at least a year and in the mean time, get out the popcorn!
