What app and settings do you use for fans and thermals ? I just bought the same laptop and i use legion toolkit but even on balanced with Ai activated cpu reach 90 degrees easily. The laptop is elevated for the airflow to circulate properly and in the room are about 25 degrees. My other laptop Legion 5 slim doesnt have any issue with temps, cpu barely gets 80-85 degrees.

Be aware. The intel processors especially the HX varients are the one who are having the most motherboard problems. In comparison, the ryzen chips are not that prone to motherboard failures. That's the whole reason I am planning to buy the ryzen 7 7435HS over 13450HX.
