Maybe shave some armour off of the sides and back of the turret of the light tank to save weight, it seems a little excessive for a tank as small as it it is.

Vickers 6 ton was base for italian mediums from M11/39 to M15/42 and even P75-M26/40-P43. While you can't recreate the latter, M15/42 should be feasible as it's only bigger, it's not any more technologically advanced. And that thing was capable of competing with early Pz.III. Likewise one can argue that Vickers 6 ton had some serious influence on Valentine. So while it doesn't seem like much on itself, it was a VERY important tank for worldwide tank industry.

You can actually make a Russian T-26 and the U.S M2A2 Light Tanks with the Hull you just researched. I spent some time in the Workshop Mode after the release of the update and I was surprised that I could create almost identical copies of the two Light Tanks I mentioned.

The dev really needs to rebalance alot of the parts to allow more freedom of customization. Basically you can only make the exact tank that existed to get the best results. Most you can do is like 5 to 10 percent change of the parts or nothing works weight wise.

"The game doesn't feel like a challenge" What difficulty are you playing on, beccause I'm playing on Normal and I don't want the difficulty increased. I could probably handle it, but playing on a knife's edge just isn't fun for me. Hopefully they can put in lots of options, rather than just three difficulty settings.

Pretty nice looking light tank you created with the Vickers 6-ton hull and the duel purpose turret. And seeing a score of 4900 on the Leicht Traktor V.3 was pretty funny. Hopefully we'll get some news on WW2 tanks as I really want to see what crazy designs you can make, especially when American, Italian, Russian, Japanese, and even Czech tanks get added into the game.

The tank that helped me the most was the A7V, got it in 1915, sold 1550 units, it has gone through 11 versions and it has been in service for 16 years, yep you read that right, it is June 1931 and that bunker box is firing at french and italian inf somewhere on the hills of Spain. While the armor and the soft firepower with it's MGs still make it an outstanding tank, It's biggest drawback is the Running Gear, but I have managed to greatly improve the operational range with an upgraded Armstrong engine. I might make one final variant because while it can still be liked by most of the european countries, it is slowly becoming obsolete as more medium tanks are appearing which can do its job more effectively while being cheaper and are not limited by the running gear or the fixed turret.

very nice series i like it a lot, fun to watch You "wrestle" with new builds :D. one thing that would be nice, if the devs want to go to the distinction between petrol and diesel engines if they also took torque into consideration. in simplest terms Hp gives You top speed, torque (NM) allows to haul much more, there is a reason most of the tanks and trucks are diesel powered and the reason is that diesel because of how they work have much more tourqe, in petrol engine 100hp would equal something around 110-120 NM, for diesel with the same HP it would be around 200.

Its ok to use RHA armor for the light tanks hull. RHA did not fall off until middle of WWII. Your likely just going to need 15 to 32mm of armor. Cemented armor would be ok on the turret and should be the same as frontal armor. Armor layouts are easy. If your frontal armor is 24 the rear is X.5 that. The sides should be about the rear armor x1.5 or 1.667. Often when playing this game. The best mix of track has been a mix of tear 1, 2, and 3 parts. Remember the tear system is to make people cry, lol. Thank you for showing me this game. I have three days in it all ready peace.

I'd like to see crazier tank designs, more edge case tanks, give the AI a chance to finish its tech tree and capture as many of them as trophies as you can. I'd also like to see a few tutorial style vids on which upgrade buildings to build and why, which have good effects etc. And if you have a free slot an attempt at true tycoon

The hard difficulty used to be unplayable. After the quick fix it is hard but actually nice to play on. If you plan ahead you can handle it.

Are you sure you are on max difficulty? You can hit escape in game and change it at any time. Though, at 45 mil, you will barely notice if you are bleeding cash. >.>

The best engine I find for the light tank is the French Schneider It has a high power to weight ratio with upgraded parts even though it’s 60 HP

Seems to me that devs need to change how tonnage is looked at in contract scoring. As it is now, you get infinitely penalized for going overweight, but REWARDED for going underweight, with no cap - meaning a super-light tanks, like Leicht Tractor will always have good scoring, even in contracts that originally request heavy tanks. Mass value should be a TARGET, giving you increasing penalties for going either over- OR under-weight.

With the engines you need to stop looking at the HP. The game doesn't care about HP. Look at the weight limit. That's what gives the +/- % bonus. The diesel 105 engine has a 8500t limit. The synchro 90hp has a 9000hp limit. It will be much better

Really lazy way to go about it by the dev. No engine has a "weight limit" in real life. Gearing ratios have a far greater effect on the ability to move weight than pure horse power. Dev just went with the easiest way to do the numbers, in a simulation game that's a major problem imo.

"Vanguard tank" and they accept a Light Tank....... They really should fix that. Cus Arn't Vanguard tanks supposed to be Heavy Tanks? Then again I guess thats not necessarily true, they just want a tank that can cross trenches, has a Cannon, and can be easily repaired. You would think a Light Tank would not be good a trench crossing cus they are so small..... edit: also surprised they didn't add a NEW test drive track for Era 2.

Yeah the POWER TO WEIGHT RAITO Stat has got to be the most _annoying_ stat in the WHOLE Game right now. Cus their is nothing you can do about it other then make a "lighter" aka Worse Tank. (generally lighter parts are worse, then again none of stats make any sense most of the time) Power To Weight is just the FLAT LIMIT of your what Tracks OR your Engine can carry. And the amount of downsides you get from having a bad power to weight ratio is INSANE and even if you fix all the defects its still a minus 1 to those stats. FOR example: in era 1 none of the engines can carry a BASIC Mk 1 heavy tank with 6 pounder cannons except the Liberty V12 cus that design ends up being like 30,000 tons. The First set of tracks can carry 31,000 but the First engine can only carry 27,000 and that goes up to 29,000 with the 3rd engine.

Why would you want to stick a heavy tank turret on the light tank chassis. You keep doing same things. Stop just looking attributes and combine light/med/heavy components and build proper stuff
