This is a very emotional song for me, Linkin Park was my childhood, my introduction to rock/metal. Chester knew how to cut through right to the soul, I feel emotional when listening to this song. RIP Chester, your music touched the lives of millions of people!

I tell you what y'all. what Linkin Park did for me is something I will never be able to put into words. I served 10 years in the military and did 4 tours overseas. From 05 to 2012 I was on a rapid rotation from state side to the sand box then to Afghanistan. For me, I don't know if it was like this for other soldiers , but for me whenever I would get back from our missions or our objective for that day or night you would be just so high-strung you know an just so stressed and just coming down from the adrenaline dump that you would just gotten. So my remedy for that was I would just go back and sit in my room or whatever I was living in and just put my headphones in and just sit in a dark corner and just listen to Linkin Park and just vibe out you know and then I would just get up go to the gym and I would work out for the next solid two and a half hours just jamming out to Linkin Park. Chester and Mike's music has without a doubt kept me breathing and not only that but shed light on some other things in my life I was lacking in. So for me chester was a life saver for me and when he passed I was so upset and just couldn't believe it. So when I heard lost for the first time I instantly broke down and pulled my car over to the side of the road and cranked this song as loud as I could get it. It was so sad but yet so amazing to hear Chester's voice again. Rest in peace Chester if you only knew what you've done for some people. Rest easy my friend. So for Mike and the rest of the band keep your heads up and keep on letting Chester's voice and memories be with us by releasing unreleased stuff like this.

I went to the same high school that chester. Washington High in Phoenix. I found out years later. It’s weird but back then I could feel his presence. Like his soul left a trace. This is heartbreaking 💔 but uplifting 🤘🖤

I'm significantly older then you, however Chester Bennington, Chris Cornell, & Robin Williams are the celebrities deaths that really affected me. Ironically the 3 died by suicide😢😢😢 we all need help from time to time regardless if we're celebrities or just ordinary people. Depression & Anxiety doesn't discriminate, check in with your people & make sure they now how important they are.

First time hearing this song… its the same feeling i have now, after hearing it for idk 100 times. I can‘t put it in words how i feel. On one side, its so amazing, the song is great, and as soon as the song starts, its like going back in time. And for a few seconds, after Chester starts singing, everything feels normal again… but then, you remeber that it isn‘t, and that he isn‘t around anymore… so on the other side, this song just fucking hurts to listen too.

These lyrics hit me really hard not only because of what happened to Chester and what he went through, but because a friend of mine from middle school (the person who introduced me to Linkin Park) tragically took his own life a few years back. When I heard this song I couldn't help but think of him and what he was going through, and it made me wonder if I just missed something. It makes me wonder if I could have helped him and I was too blind to see that something was wrong.

Coincidentally, when I was changing my meds and had to go through the worst of the withdrawal period, it was also the same time when Chester died. So you have withdrawal from depression and anxiety meds mixed with grief. Hardest time in my entire life thus far. And now guess what lol I'm changing my meds and going through withdrawal again and this song comes out. Talk about full circle. At least this time, I might still feel grief because of the memories but there's some comfort that I get to hear something different from Chester when he was alive albeit 20 years ago.
