I would love to see comparisons for the Celine red lipstick, to see how it compares to other iconic reds: Dior 999, Chanel Pirate 99, Givenchy 33, Hermes Rouge Casaque and Rouge Bleu, MAC Ruby Woo, and Lisa Eldridge's Ribbon -- just to name a few of the big guns. Just a thought...

I am SO GLAD I watched this.. I was so tempted to try that TF palette.. I hate dry dusty formulas.. but I did love the color story, too… but what a waste of $100 bucks! For that much, for 4 shades, I want every one to perform really beautifully… I’m getting pickier and pickier about what I’m buying these days… glad i don’t have a channel! 😂. I agree with you. Prices on the luxury products are getting ridiculous. In the past I almost bought too many for the season. This year I bought 3 items. I only bought what I really thought would enhance my collection. Instead I’ve revisited last years collection which were used so little and with Tom Ford and Dior I prefer the old formulas. I have the Celine lipstick and I love it! I usually don't wear red lipstick but recently I started to want one and I chose the Celine version. The colour is really great. I have very light skin with yellow undertones and it looks so pretty! The formula is also great, not drying and sticking tightly to the lips. Now my go to makeup is a bit of foundation, eyebrow gel, and red lips - love it.

I like Urban Decay Eye Pencils. They have a huge shade range, smooth texture and a really good longevity. For a reasonable price =) I would also love to pick up one or two Hermes liners 🤩

Thanks for another super crystal clear review, dear Sofia!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩The TF quad is a maybe, don't know yet. Makeup by Mario, too cool, and afraid of the shimmers on my sensitive eyes. Hermes, don't know, i'm still looking for a good emerald liner for when i wear my dear late mama's jewelry, i have also a set with emerald, but this liner is quite expensive, not sure yet. Celine: i never wear liptstick, only gloss/balm etc. Esum, good brand, but the shipping cost to get it here in NL is insane, i only do it for their brush books i must say, or when the prices are really really low. I'm liking the look of the sparkly Guerlain lipstick case. What are your thoughts on their matte and satin formulas? I'm 55 and so far am most happy with the CT and Merit lipsticks. (My favorite gloss stick is the Sisley).

Hi Sofiia, thank you for your review! I appreciate your enthusiasm for the eyeliners. However, I have had a different experience with them. As a fan of Hermès cosmetics, I found the pencils to be quite hard, which made them uncomfortable to apply on my eyelids. They feel scratchy, and I also struggled with blending, which was disappointing. I wonder if Hermès tested their quality before launching them into mass production. Given the price tag, I expected these eyeliners to be perfect. While I agree that the shades are unique, I ultimately had to return the several pencils I purchased. It was a big disappointment for me.

Sofie This is an excellent review and provided answers; I liked the colours for the TM eyeshadow and thought it looked really powdery, so pleased that you pointed that out. Prices are crazy. The only thing I purchased was the Gucci red blush. I was able to try it prior to purchasing. What won me over, aside from how pretty it is, was that it’s very buildable. I can easily go from a very sheer red to a full on color. I’ve become much more selective. Before purchasing anything I look through what I already have. Usually I surprise myself in finding very similar things.

I love the colour story in this Tom Ford palette, I will be buying it. It’s similar to his White Suede LE palette from a few years ago which is just beautiful. I see myself using this for day or night. No one does elegant sparkle like Tom Ford.

I needed to come back here and thank you for your in-depth review of the Hermes eyeliners. Eyeliner is non-negotiable for me and is one of my favorite makeup products. Because of the price tag and where I live, I depend on reviews since I purchase luxury cosmetics exclusively online. Your review is the best and most helpful review. I like Victoria Beckham but good lord they are too creamy. I have to set them with an eyeshadow like my life depended on it. The Chanel is long-lasting but they dry up in their tubes pretty quick because they're a twist up. I feel like these Hermes eyeliners will be a good buy for me. Especially since they're Peleton-proof, in pencil format, and the color selection is REALLY getting me. Thank you so much! If you do end up going to a Hermes boutique if you could swatch all the colors and maybe post that on Instagram that would be so helpful.

I have hard and fast rules for luxury makeup. It must have excellent packaging, excellent colour, excellent performance and exceptional formulae. It has to work on my mature skin. It has to apply easily and blend seamlessly. It has to last and feel comfortable and I need to get that luxurious feeling.

Hi Sofia, Like I said in my previous message, this quad didn’t impress me at all. I tried it in store and I didn’t like the formula and also I didn’t like the colour story. I love Hermes makeup but not their new eye pencils. In my opinion they are hard (they feel very scratchy), don’t have enough pigmentation and don’t set completely. I had high expectations and I am very disappointed because the colours are gorgeous. Hermes will sell sharpeners separately probably for the same price as the eye pencils. 😁 Next year they will come with a foundation. Celine makeup looks great but will be hard to get for me because I don’t think will be available in Australia. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

The Tom Ford quad looks good on you but for that price I think I’d go with the Hermes Ombres Fumées, although in daylight the glow is so beautiful. But I have the so many TF pallets (from the early days as well) that I think it won’t stand out enough to justify the price.

I had a feeling that the darkest shade in the palette was patchy. I’ve gone back and forth on whether I want that palette and the cheek palette but now I’m pretty sure it’s a no for me. Great review, Sofia, but it’s a pass for me. TF it’s not my cup of tea. I do have a few quads, but I prefer Prada or Chanel.Hermes eyeliner I will get warm brown, at some point. Red lipstick, I have so many, but wear more warmer shades, and with Hermes new Napa rouge , I am obsessed with that lipstick. Got back up 😳😂 Have a blessed day🙏❤️

I enjoyed the video. Thank you for review. I love pretty luxury products, but they have to be exceptional to justify the high price tag. These although beautiful do not justify the expense. Can I get makeup that is just as beautiful and in pretty packaging at a fraction of the price? Yes, I can. Will anyone, including me be able to tell I am wearing a $100 eyeshadow vs a $30 eyeshadow? Nope. There is luxury like an expensive car, handbag, jewelry, shoes, etc. I know that part of the price is in materials, labor, carats, and so on. At least those luxury products have some form of innate value and longevity. On the other hand makeup is perishable and ephemeral. The ingredients have little innate value, and manufacture adds minimally to the cost of the final product. Even the costs of distribution and packaging are not that high. So what am I truly paying for, is it the illusion of innate value and luxury? To me the choice not to buy is easy. I hope other consumers come to the same conclusion.

Ooo, that beautiful gold manicure you have really sells the gorgeous gold lipstick case 😊 - the TF shadows looked gorgeous on you too and not as smokey as I would have imagined - I like a deep color that’s not black or grey or dark brown, so that dark eggplant (?) is tempting and interesting - but… ah, I just don’t really like the white packaging - I know it’s the winter theme, but it just gets me the wrong way and I feel not as happy about it (I know, weird and I don’t know why) … among the other cons of price, and is the formula/colors anything I need - but the colors do look like an interesting twist on a real staple for me personally -- the Mario palette I think is too much overwhelming for me even if the price is better … well, thanks for the review and I’ll ponder over it later 😊❤

The TF palette dissapoints me, the skin tone to dry not nice on the skin, the boring brown is never an eggplant shade i wish it was more dark lila and in the sun it is a brown, the sparkle shade nice first on the lid but in the sun rosa pearl based with green and gold particles looks like unicorn rainbow.
