These videos remind me of 2015, when I was struggling financially and relied on her drugstore recommendations. I used to wear makeup because I felt embarrassed to be seen without it, but now I only put it on when I want to, and it’s more about my own happiness than feeling ashamed. The packaging on these luxury products brings me so much joy! 😭

I'm 54 with both oily and mature (creased, wrinkled, crepey and textured) skin, so I completely relate to the problem of matte foundation not looking as good as it used to, but more radiant foundations looking awful too. I actually love mixing either the Haus Labs foundation or the Maybelline Skin Tint foundation to my matte formulas. The finish that gives is precisely my both my oily and mature skin needs and it increases the wear time while reducing the number of times I need to blot and powder.

Beauty advisor here! Try the Estee Lauder Double Wear Sheer or the Sisley Phyto-teint Nude. Both a bit pricey unfortunatly but so worth it. Light textures that just melt into the skin, with an oil free formula that isn’t too dry but will be more matte! Please get a sample, I am almost certain you will love one of these. And if you try it please let us know if you liked it

I’m pretty sure that I have been mixing those exact foundations with the new Elf one. Is the Maybelline one with the dropper? It’s not bad. Weird how we are mixing the same two together with something else lol.

@@horvthx1958 - Thank you for the recommendations! I've used the regular EL Dbl Wear for years, but haven't tried the sheer before. I'll definitely get a sample the next time I need more product. As for the Sisley, that's way out of my price range, and there's no place near me that sells it for me to ensure a proper color match if I decided to splurge on myself. I do truly appreciate the recommendations though.

I’ve been a devout Moroccan Oil Hairspray user. It’s flexible with a nice hold (at least for my hair). I use stronghold and works more like a medium hold on my hair

I love the brand too but they must have changed something with their shampoo & because it doesn’t lather as good as it used to. The conditioner is okay. I do love the scent. Now I use Malin + goetz.

I’ve been using the curl Smith hairspray and it is fabulous for my hair not sticky gives great hold, but it’s not stiff. Lots of shine too without looking greasy either.

The L'Oreal Elnett Hairspray is what I use!! I think it has a wonderful hold, and as long as you don't use too much it doesn't feel crunchy! I discovered this hairspray from when I have seen backstage vlogs for fashion shows and even kpop stages! Also if you love the Dior Contour Stick I highly highly highly recommend that you try the foundation stick as well! I used to use the Forever Concealer all over my face, ever since they discontinued the Airflash, but now Forever Skin Stick literally has replaced that instantly, so creamy, so much coverage ,and yet so skin-like!! I am already on my second stick and they just released it! Going on my third soon!! xo's!!

The YSL is soooo good! and comes in a good amount of colors. Also has hyaluronic acid to keep your skin hydrated. You should try the finishing powders. My only thing is I wish they made them refillable.

I love the Maria Nila Finishing spray! My hair is thin and straight and this one does not weight it down. More of a traditional hair spray than a texturizer

Thank you for this! I feel like I’m the only other person who loves the Patrick Ta foundation! All the reviews on KZbin have been so negative. Yes, I have to powder my T zone more often but that’s not a bad price to pay for luminous “real but perfect” looking skin. It may not cover every discoloration but it makes them look so much better. Patrick also says that other make up blends beautifully with this product and I agree, though I prefer his powder blush to his cream with this formula. I even mixed his foundation with EL Double Wear one day - used a little double wear around my nose and his on the rest of my face and his formula played beautifully with it. People should remember that you can put on more than one foundation on your face to get the perfect finish based on the needs of that part of your skin- my T zone and cheeks may as well be different countries for what they need. People buying Patrick Ta obviously have a makeup wardrobe, so I say use it to your advantage, because his formula can blend beautifully with others. I keep hearing people say it doesn’t dry down but it does- your face is just going to feel the same way it feels if you apply moisturizer and have no makeup on, yet the makeup doesn’t move or easily transfer. Also, this trend towards 72 hour wear makeup with no touch ups is a little silly - it’s a face product not nail polish. When I get home from work, it’s time to do my skin a solid and wash my face anyway. Thank you for an honest review. I sort of felt like some many creators were on a bandwagon determined not to like this foundation but it’s lovely and skin nurturing which is what I want in a product plus most that have these ingredients and finish (like Chanel) cost even more and have fragrance.

Best hairspray I’ve ever used is Davines extra hold. Not hard, crunchy or drying and does fight humidity. You can choose your formula! Absolute best hair products I’ve ever used and my hair is so healthy now at 50! It’s expensive but well worth it. Not an over the top scent and doesn’t bother me, it’s a nice scent! I buy 2 cans a year and it’s perfection! I have tried them all! 😊
