I love the approach that you have with makeup. The fact that you stick with your favourite one without following always what's trend and having to deal with millions of brands, colour or products. I recently started to apply more makeup (even if I want to keep a natural look) and I love watching various Guru's channel in order to understand better what can be the best for me but it can be a bit overwhelming with all the new stuff that every day the makeup world can bring. So I really appreciate the fact that I can always watch your video and feel like it's a reassurance when you talk to us about a brand or a product. Keep a small bottle of the Clarins eyemakeup remover, give the full size a good shake to mix both fluids and just refill the travel version. I always do that and never run out of minis 😊

Vanessa Lippert I do that too. I‘m always a bit annoyed when I can’t open the mini-bottle and have to repurchase it (like the Bioderma micellar water) because it feels like such a waste of plastic. Maybe I’ll start using another bottle for that...

Although I doubt anyone here is much of the drugstore makeup kind, if anyone's also not really a powder wearer but is wanting to try out a non-matte natural looking powder, I highly highly recommend the CoverGirl Advanced Radiance translucent powder. It's amazing! It's not really 'radiant' as the name says, it just looks like natural, dewy skin & never cakey. Looove!

i don't curl my lashes, so lash slick works great for me on a daily basis, but layering WORKS. I am weirdly still into the tarte tartist mascara for volume and definition, and when i layer that over the glossier my lashes look INSANE. good luck experimenting!

You need the shade Glimmer in the Jillian Dempsey Tints! It's slightly harder to find, but available on Revolve and Violet Grey. It's sort of just a perfect neutral, but not as peachy as Peach. I wear it everyday with a little bit of bronze in the crease, or if I am wearing a deeper shade, I apply on top for a slightly glossy effect. They also came out with cheek tints I saw!

I love Glossier Lash Slick and I really like a ton of volume with my lashes. I wear just that, but put 3-4 coats on. It gives great separation, length, and doesn't smudge at all on me. Love it.

I think those Dior lip glows get softer once you break down that top layer! I had bought the berry one (04?) last fall and loved it so just went out and bought the coral one a few weeks ago. Was initially disappointed because it seemed so hard compared to my berry one, but now after using it a few more times they feel exactly the same, so much smoother!

Totally agree with your shock at a waterproof mascara NOT holding a curl. I had the same experience with Christian Dior Iconic Waterproof - Extreme Wear High Intensity Lash Curler #090 mascara. Quite a mouthful! I literally watched my curl straighten as I brushed it through my freshly curled lashes. I’m currently loving Lancôme Waterproof Monsieur Big Mascara (thanks for the recommendation!) and Cover Girl Waterproof Total Tease Mascara for separation.

Thank you for the clarins remover recommendation! I’ve been struggling with the regular non waterproof Monsieur Big mascara - getting all over my pillowcases and raccoon eyes and it has seemed to solve 90% of the issue. Still a tiny bit on my undereye in the morning but nothing major. Fantastic.

I love Glossier lash slick!! I layer it UNDER L’Oréal lash paradise and it’s my favorite combo. I feel like the lash paradise gives your lashes definition and thickness and then lash slick gives length and separation over top.

Terre brulée looks incredibly like the back to bronze (or whatever that colour is called) of the maybelline colour tattoos! I'm sure the formulas are different but maybe worth checking out next time you're in boots x

I'm really interested in all the RMS products (heads up, they do offer two shades paler than what you got, down to 000!) they're a natural brand, but they seem to be going toe-to-toe against a lot of other brands when it comes to the really natural/boy beat makeup look. They're pricey, but honestly gram for gram they're in line with a lot of brands many people already buy, the packaging is just more minimal and so I think a lot of people feel like they're getting less than they truly are. Anyway, I'd love to see your thoughts on more RMS products, I'm definitely interested in them!

The Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Balm works wonders when removing makeup. I'm not quite sure if it'd remove Lancome's waterproof mascara but it'd be worth giving it a go.

That's the problem with decluttering: when you get into it, you can't stop:) I look at everything at my home with "decluttering goggles" now. I always ask myself "do I need it, do I like it" It's combined with minimalism and a capsule wardrobe, I find myself getting rid of things all the time. I guess we should give stuff sometime to prove themselves :D

Ooooh that's a tough one! They're slightly different textures - the CHANEL is more of a subtle creamy sheen, whereas the C.T goes on wet and dries down and has a more metallic finish. I'd say the CHANEL is more of a daytime eyeshadow for me and the C.T more for events and evenings x

Hi Anna! Have you tried DHC's mascara? I am usually a very finicky mascara person and had not found the 'one' until I tried DHC's mascara! I literally have gone through 3 and have 3 backups because I love it that much. I learned the rec from Lisa Eldridge and it was on Emma Watson's Top Shelf, and if it's good for them....! :) It's a tubing mascara (which I usually hate) but this mascara is just so good! Good luck!

Oh don’t give away your Undertone, Anna. I bought mine online too and like you, was very underwhelmed and disappointed at how pale it was when I received it. But I’ve come to find that it works really well with a darker shade like Creme Brûlée or Bette, giving my eyes a little more depth and dimension rather than just one solid swipe across the lid. Hope I’m not out of line here but do give it a chance, lest you have giveaway regrets (again) 🙃

And I love Chanel’s waterproof Le volume. I just have to work a little harder to have a result that I want. The result is very defined, fluffy lashes that don’t go anywhere no matter how long I wear it.

I finally caved and bought Monsieur Big after you started raving about it and let’s be honest, Allana’s lashes are just incredible. Sadly it doesn’t match up to L’Oréal’s Paradise lash which is a lot cheaper.
