Honestly, I don’t mind when they start fall stuff in July. It gives me a chance to start seeing what I have and what I need for fall. You store it away then. My kids are grown and out of house, but people have back to school stuff, fall decor and such, who can buy this all at one time. You can buy a lil at a time and put it away. I always heard my hubs complain w stuff coming out so early. I had to tell him that’s so you’re not buying everything at one time. You can space it out!! I love that Maxx and Marshall’s has Halloween stuff out now!! My favorite time of year!!

Yup.. but... I just recently by total accident came across the tarte energy palette. I saw the colors and they reminded me of the true blood palette which was my very first high end palette so I bought it and I love it❤ I am already mixing dark colors with it and it's going to look great in the Fall. Then again I always have a Fall look year round. I fell into the nude lip craze u til a bud if mine reminded me that he misses my red lip looks. I'm back to rocking the red lip. Never again will I fall for trends. ❤

I have to say...the haus labs foundation is amazing. It looks so natural and perfecting right when I put it on and the best part is its super long wearing! I've worn it for a full day at the fair, birthday parties in full summer sun all day long and it looks so good at the end of the day. I'm normally a drugstore girly and I'm shocked that the haus labs foundation is my ultimate foundation holy grail ❤

I'm excited about the Natasha mini (though I have fair skin). I feel like her shadows are always too dark for me and translate darker on the skin than in the pan. I'm excited for a palette where I can use every shade!

So mental health moment Showering is difficult for me - I tend to have these prolonged periods of down . And while I love being clean, it’s like a shower just gets forgotten about or I notice my hair smells and that the time where I remember I’ve been trying to move away from the down or over stimulated mind set of a shower being too involved or a place of vulnerability And I have been focusing on making taking a shower a good time? Like that is my post work out me time. So I have indulged in some fruity body washes and hair serums It sounds so silly especially over a shower, but for some of us it’s this weird hurdle? Oddly even more for a lot of us that struggle with getting naked and wet - we do a lot of other hard complex things . Lol mental health 😅

Yep. I totally relate. Depression makes me give up on hygiene. I absolutely hate showers & procrastinate taking them as long as possible, but I always feel a little better after one. Weird.

I totally agree with you about blushes. Powder #1, Cream in a pot #2 liquids # 3and sticks #4 . I am in my 60's and cream blushes NEVER last and I always have to top with a powder formula. I am a make up enthusiast and I have so many cream blushes in a search for a long lasting one. Now I refuse to buy anymore. I also find that most of the time creams become splotchy and I have to apply more to fill the spots.

Sometimes it seems fall stuff comes out earlier and earlier. My daughter had a baby June 22 and needed some shorts since it takes you a while to lose the baby weight and she had a hard time finding anything. She went to Old Navy and all their shorts were on clearance and there weren’t many sizes left.

I honestly think the ND palette is cute. I’m a simple glam girl. I have several neutral palettes, but want a nice simple pink/mauve palette. I’m a fair, neutral, light brown hair, hazel eyed lady who just wants a eyeshadow palette geared directly towards that. So I like the lightness of the new palette. Often eye palettes are too dark for me. I’ll also take suggestions if anyone has found that perfect hazel eyed palette.

I'm HERE for the duping! I'm finally at a point in my life where there aren't a bunch of people(kids, grands) draining my bank account & I can afford a more lux brand or experience, but I still don't want to, lol I'd much rather have a better priced version. Especially when my fav creators lmk how similar something is or isn't. The thing about seeing videos late is that you know insight that past Kelly did not. The first holiday collection was annunced from Estee Lauder, in august 1st. The haus thing seems exciting, but I also knw that international shipping would be about 3 weeks so I'd likely be charged the set price by the time I get the samples. Eh.

You know, I agree with you about blush sticks which I didn't realize until now. I can never just draw it on my face because it moves my foundation around and like the top of the blush itself has foundation on it afterwards. I end up having to draw it all over the back of my hand then picking it up with a brush.

I would love to try the Haus Labs foundation but I don't have a Sephora near me. The closest one is inside Kohls and they don't have the Haus Labs foundation. So this mini set appeals to me. I just wish you could pick the 3 shades you want to try but that's just me being nitpicky.

That MD Mini Starlette palette even has one shade that's the same as Mini Retro. Also, it's not going to be as pink as the promo shots. It's 3 shades from the Star palette and 2 shades from Lila.

What has me excited is the Sydney Grace Heaven on Earth Launch. I might order it and the Tropicolor palette during the sale. I really enjoy pairing palettes and they seem like a good duo. I've really been feeling an earth meets ocean vibe in palette this summer. I bought Beachy and Earthy from Sigma and set them side by side and I was like yes. This is like the Elf Earth and Ocean palette but more my style. That may be a good reason for me not to order Heaven on Earth but ... I love the turtle on the package and I am really curious about Sydney Grace's formula. However, I was playing with the Alice in Wonderland palette by Sigma today, and I was kind of surprised how easily I could dupe the vibes of the Tropicolor palette with just that palette. If I pulled in another palette we'd be getting even closer. I'm with you. July is too soon for fall releases. I'm feeling it more mid-August, early September. I did buy Fiery and Spicy from Sigma recently, though, and when I did that, I thought how great the 2 would pair together for fall vibes. Fiery does have brighter, more summery vibes, too, though. I am also with you on barely there blushes. I'd love to see a video on your favorites!
