this build is sweet, reminds me of telrasha from diablo 3, tbh tho before they start making harder content they need to fix build diversity and stop nerfing shit like frost nova build before the season even launched, i get it they want stuff to not be broken but at the same time there is a reason POE is just a better game, it has hard content and there are literally hundreds of viable builds that all feel unique and this game super limits you on what you can do, some builds are just way to weak some get dumped into the ground like nova did and thats not considering that there really just isnt many builds per class to begin with.

Wish i would of read the comments before building n spending the time farming for items and tempers. Built this almost exactly the same with even all tempers correctly. Wasnt working for me. Thought it was maybe mob density issue or mob levels. But still didnt work, went through my build making sure it was all the same but still couldn’t spam meteor. Any tips or is it just actually nerfed

one you need to have a 6 second count on the helm. and the cool down reduction is also needed. i dont use xfals and i use blizzard ixe spikes insstead of frost nova for damage and damage reduction "while in i your blizzard you take 30% less damage and the ice spikes add more damage. i use the glacial aspect on one ring.i dont suggest you deviate as far as i did. get the 6 sec on the helm and massive cool down, on your necklace he uses xfals and the other ring for there cool down so upgrade all of those so your cool down is massive..

I'm done all the stuff at lv80, the key passive here rather choose Shatter instead, cuz all the mobs freezed anyway, total damage with critical strike while they freeze explode when they die is huge. The problem of this build is when facing just 1 or 2 mob running around :))

Not killing 200 lvl Boss in 3hits like other OP builds, even ice build melted his health bar faster. Lack of 10M+ hits but solid fun meteor shower build. I like they don't kill other build buff only some to degree when is op and no one want to play weak builds.

it does look fun everyone loves a starfall build. i do prefer having a mana spender in addition to meteor but its often inefficient to boost 2 spells. fireball/firewall would be my top 2 followed by incinerate (LOL) or blizzard

It will still be viable after the pit difficulty increase. It will just take longer to clear. Same goes for pretty much every build. They can all clear, just depends how long it takes.

According to the build link on this, i seen that attack speed is a required roll on the weapon and offhand, how do you get attack speed on the dagger? I dont see that being possible given the list of potential rolls for it at the blacksmith.

Played it in s3. Feels similiar to blizzard. But lag of the delay and dmg and cc. So I went back to blizzard. So meteors need some adds to compare with blizzard. Blizzard is even a blast at helltide events. Meteors cant compare.

This what always kills me this is a range class using no mana… doming abilities as range yet melee classes have to be in close use more resources to use abilities than any other classes and you have to commit so much to get even decent resource regain compared to Range classes/casters

I wanted to point out that for the dagger and focus you have in the planner to roll an attack speed affix, which is literally impossible. Really wanna try this build but I spent 40m rerolling affixes before I checked to see if it was even possible. Please fix the build planner

I’m using raiment with this build… you need to change gear a bit. Get armour on boots and you can drop juggernaught and still armour cap…. Drop devouring on amulet and gain increase movement. Need that 9300 armour. And master craft pants to get that armour

So I’m not having problems with any of the build per say but I just can’t seem to get the cdr and as on one item especially when I need to then get meteor on the boots lol then I gotta hope I roll the right affix’s on the godly found item. Like I said I love the crap out of it but it definitely takes some time to hunt the necessary items with the perfect stats on them. Wish me luck I love the way it looks and I’m on my way.

Yes you can, just do the normal build without the unique items, you will just have cast the skill, and build mana regen.

How much CDR and Attack speed do we need exactly? Trying to get my cool downs to reset as quickly as shown in this video and it just isn't happening. I have 34% cooldown reduction and 11.3% attack speed bonus (1.2 weapon speed).

Only way to attempt is now to use accelerate aspect and the ancient flame aspect since mastery skills (meteor) act as core skills now to raise attack speed. Then roll damage on weapon/offhand. It might get you close but it’ll be sorta inconsistent since that attack speed bonus isn’t constant

I wish they buffed the skill itself, not through aspects, items or tempering. Meteor itself is weak and isn't very fun to play during campaign. Plus it feels like you a failure of a mage when you have to heavily rely on items or enchantments

Thanks a bunch for sharing this! :) Was just wondering though.. considering how crucial attack speed is to the Ice Blade cooldown reduction engine, would Aspect of Ancient flames not be more worthwhile than say a flat 25% damage multiplier from Conceited? Considering how quickly you kill enemies, it doesn't seem like uptime should be a problem, and looking at the stats in the builder, I don't think you would be hitting the attack speed cap right? Looking forward to hear your thoughts. Thanks again! :)

Better to use the elementalist aspect and drop off crit chance from Amulet for attack Speed. That gives you 4x attack speed affix for 60% assuming perfect roll so 87% if you are 12/12 masterworking, assuming NO bonus 25% on masterworking 4-8-12. You can also get a greater affix for 1.5 so getting 60% before masterworking is for sure doable. If you get some extra 25% on masterwork you can hit 100%. Or drop Xfal and go with a ring for attack speed there.

Curious... can you use the new frozen orb amulet and have frozen orb as an enchantment to cast when you are casting meteors... which summon conjurations and cast more frozen orbs and give even more cdr to meteor?

Have not tested it but normally Procs dont proc Procs, so if it is not bugged only self cast Orbs should summon conjurations.

They removed attack speed on one handed and off hands... BUT I'm running this build. If you can masterwork your gear up you can basically do this if you get the right rolls on CD reduction and attack speed. It's what I'm using right now and I'm only level 85 and gotten to put 34 without min maxing anything yet

@@jeffalv6176 it procs all the CD reductions actually making this build super viable the way it is. It gives a cool down to all your other skills as mentioned in the skill tree and you proc an extra ice blades utilizing it as an enchanent which further let's you have more CD reductions
