Really nice. I need to make one for my sister, who has a western themed room in her log cabin. Thanks for the idea!

Well, this proves it. John is a man of many talents. That is a very good looking hanging lamp, er, candle holder. Or whatever it's called. This has been a better woodworking video than a lot of the woodworking videos I watch.👍👍 Thank you for sharing. Have a great 2024 and stay safe.🙂🙂

Should show more of your woodworking, some of us enjoy that just as much as blacksmithing and fabrication.

Have you ever had a time when you looked at something and thought, “Gee, I haven’t a clue how they built that.” I just came back from Eveleigh Railway Workshops in NSW and if you ever visit the land Down Under, take a peek. It is just a short walk from the Redfern train station a few stops south of Sydney. They have a power hammer so massive I thought,”Gee, I wonder how they built that?” Matt the blacksmith will even give you a tour if you let him know in advance. It would make a great video. There are many gates and fencing examples of wrought iron to see such as the ones near the opera house. If you get tired of the cold in winter, January is not a bad time to go since they have warm days mixed with rainy ones. My wife had a TaiChi class nearby so I was the “baggage.”

Great video! Will you be posting close up pictures of details like the forge brazing? I for one would love to see how various elements look completed.

I got myself a Vevor double burner but I cannot get it to burn correctly. It just doesn't throw out a blue flame like it should.
@tylerfortier727611 ай бұрын
What kind of forge was that?
@BlackBearForgeII11 ай бұрын
Its the little single burner forge from Vevor
@tylerfortier727611 ай бұрын
It looms like it gets pretty darn hot for only a single burner. You like it?

I've brazed production on air-conditioning for 40 years.. I did even think if it in my forge. Flux isn't good for out body I'd use ventilation and mask. Did you build your chisels.?
@BlackBearForgeII11 ай бұрын
have made a few. But the ones used here are made by others
