I’ve been trying to get this/hub command typed in for like three hours now and I’m starting to give up because I know I’m typing it right and it’s just not working I don’t know what to do I have it on repeat and unconditional and needs Redstone and there’s a Redstone block behind it typing in/hub and it does nothing when I throw it but it pops up on the side the command when I throw it but it’s just not teleporting me at all not even moving me an inch just keeping me exactly where I am 😞 but I got the second block working the one that keeps it in your inventory but still it’s pointless

@@masterblock10 yeah you would need to set up a scoreboard for that, so you would need to make a rank scoreboard then if you want money but that is a separate system, then when you are testing the players tank you specify which scoreboard group you want to test specifically for.

Ah, I figured it out- added a ticking area to the armor_stand inside of the end. The ticking area tells them game to "always load" the armor stand, even when it's not in sight (obviously because I'm not in the end). Once the game knows to load the armor stand because of the ticking area around it, my character, and thus command block, can find the armor stand and teleport me to it.

yes, just spawn in an entity into the door, make sure it is large enough to go through both sides, and also make sure it is invisible and also very low on health, then when you hit the door/entity it will die, just make some commands to test to see if it is alive if so doors closed, when it is dead doors open, then it will respawn a new entity after some amount of time has gone by. that is just one option there are some others as well. but that is the one I believe is most true to what your were asking.

wouldn't naming the book /spawn (or any command) be the same as naming an item in an anvil ?? if so that means some people can use commands that you would want them to use if you get what I mean.

naming a book uses no experience, making it very convienient for survival. using a anvil does not take much but either they wont be able to get to spawn or there base until they have exp ehich is bad hard when you just died, or of you want to get to the shop of the factions world. if you give the player a certain amount of exp when the spawn back in I am sure it could be exploited.

Because if the chunk is no longer loaded, you wouldn't be able to get the item to be TP'd to the player. And since all the floating, stray command books could build up and cause item generated lag, that's an issue. So, it's easier and smarter to destroy the book soon as it's thrown and the commands fire.

seems you have never played factions before, in order to make it playable longterm you almost have to be in creative so you will be in creative mode. there are a lot of ideas that are complicated to explain but to make it simple creative mode is needed for factions.

Well, I throw down the book, and it doesn't do anything. I typed the kill command in correct, no syntax errors in the feedback box. And the set home command in the initial repeating command block also seems perfectly fine too

Rhys Boyle I figured it out. I set a ticking area right on the armor stand. Replaced and renamed it. Retyped the commands and replace the Redstone block. And it worked

@@berealves2884 I would recommend to just use the fill command either by the cylinder set up, or just with a normal fill command. or use a teleport command, there are many different ways. one which is mentioned in skippy6's video we did with the admin room command, you can reverse it and make a barrier.
