Biggest thing for me is getting up earlier or having enough time for a toddler to dress! I love that coat trick!

You actually dont need to get up earlier. I have the same routine, but instead of getting them dressed in the last 10 minutes before we head out I do it 30 minutes earlier and than let them color, play etc. it takes the same amount of time but I’m not chasing anyone around the house. I will film an updated routine.

Hi just wanted to say I know it’s a few years later but I’ve found this video so helpful! I’m preparing my 2.5 year old for ‘big school’ starting in September and wanted to give us time for him to learn to dress himself without feeling any pressure. I’m going to follow the helpful tips in this video and set aside some time each morning to teach him to dress himself. Thank you 🤍

Thanks, very useful video! A specially thanks for showing the jacket secret, I read it in a book but seemed really too complicated, now I guess my son won't let me to put it instead of him:) Was important also to learn that first they learn to undress, this is what he just showed an interest in, so I'm taking it easy stepby step.
