As a Marina Inoue simp, I am extremely happy with how SG designed ML Luna. Top tier skill animations and extremely decent kit. I am so glad I didn't use my pity on ML Senya. I will probably use her with ML Ludwig, Eda for GWs

Kit wise..., Seal and unbuffable but no CD reset? Balance team actually wasnt sleeping this time around. Cleansers can still answer her and thats good, tho she single handedly counters every anti cleave unit (aside sage baal and belian maybe) Hot take I really hate her design. Im a lover of coomer bait but theres such a thing as too much, At least she wears more clothes than her blue version so much better

I think this character is better for Turn 2 than Turn 1. Turn 1 has Peira, Ran, Requiem Roana, and Nahkwol. All of those do more in this meta than Luna does. I think Luna will function solidly as 270~ish Speed user with a massive amount of HP for those that aren't speed demons.

As a cleaver main personally i think she's balanced and very easy to deal. Slow gamers can just whip out their cleanser and deal with her. Cleavers need to have strong follow up that can be contested so i wouldnt say she's that good in cleave. Honestly to me she feels like slow gamers toy. Give her immunity and secure her 2nd turn Like lets for example say you draft ml luna with ml ludwig or ml roana, then enemy picks zio. You ignore zio cause he cant do shit to your immunity luna, but he can do shit to your ludwig or roana. Cleave failed. If you dont have some bridge that can follow up and they have Laia, cleave failed. She will work better in standard play. Give her high hp and immunity and use her in standard play.

She seems great in a standard vs standard meta... Which we haven't been in for like a year. Not sure where she fits in now. Still gonna pull her 100%. I wanna try her on a high health counter damage build. Not optimal but she seems like she would be fun on that.

Nokwol can't really be used vs dodge heroes and ice, this Luna can. She's much more toxic than nokhwol

Honestly Evasion units aren't even used anymore outside of Adin and even she doesn't see a crazy amount of play unless you early pick Dark units a lot. And after my Ice units always getting hit by Nahk's S3...that's not really a safe counter to rely on. Also I'm gonna be honest, Ice units kinda aren't as common as they used to be on previous seasons so you won't always see a crazy amount of Ice units being played against you. So Nahkwol is 100% way worse to deal with than ML Luna. Hell even Summer Luluca just auto counters her as well as Laia and basically any SW with AoE cleanse on Summer Luluca's Artifact.

@@xFlow777 Sure but not like its hard to counter Adin, can even use Shalltear to do it and she can even potentially outspeed your Nahkwol since higher base speed. Also even if that's true, congrats that is 1 unit that is some what good into Nahk. It's just Adin, Laia or outspeed her with a unit that can hit her through stealth. What about ML Luna? EVERY FAST SW with a cleanse cause All Luna does is hit your team with Seal and unbuffable, at least you can use a SW to cleanse it and then Luna S3 became useless. Hell I'm even gonna use Holiday Yufine against ML Luna.

No, it doesn't invalidate Belian's passive. You still take damage and are affected by passive skills. You basically block the first Debuff(s) that would effect Luna. So if Zio S3's Luna, she does not get Silenced or pushed back Combat Readiness. She blocks both of those effects...but still takes all the damage.

@@im_Tsu I think she does still get silenced and pushed back, just that she blocks the strip. If you see the part of the preview where peira s2 on ml luna, only the first instance says "Skill Effect Nullifier" and the other 2 instances say "Immunity". So in the future, if there is an opener that can strip 1 buff, then strip another buff before debuffing, ml luna can be countered with one unit.

Facts my dude. She can activate Eda who rn gets punished by elbris and Rimuru. And it's hard to activate her because of poli and celine. Now you can safely eda into landmines and she in turn can activate seaseria or astromancee or cavel and bring them back to prominence. 😮

I don't know what it is about her design but her main art looks kind of off to me? Like not up to their usual level of polish. Like someone came in late in the design process and said 'NIKKE is making loads more money, make her look more like that', and there wasn't really time to polish it. Sprite and S3 look great though. Not sure.

It just feels strange to justify lunas kit due to what we all agree is the worst version of an opener made for this game. Speed is the main issue with nahkwol and she’s still horrible to deal with. To me introducing a character with this mix of skills and new buff just breeds trouble for future characters. I want to be wrong about this but history has consistently proven it to be true. Many ppl had this fear when ameru introduced seal and now we’ve made it to it’s peak form. I’m not trying to make people upset or anything. I know how badly people wanted her to release, but the future outlook of the game just seems even more worrisome. 😔

Seal is OP with Nahkwol cause she turns off your cooldowns in the opening turn, which is when you need your passives the most. Luna has a handful of characters that can get out of Seal on Turn 1 right away. Now if the game goes longer than that? Ut oh.

@@im_Tsu the problem is outside of laia belian specifically all of those other characters that should keep her in check get dumpstered hard by everyone else and now the moment someone picks ml luna you are forced to pick a hyper specific draft just to not lose which means your opponent has free reign to counterpick everything you do so your dead regardless shes a pre ban for like 99.9% of players.
