It’s the recirculation actuator, it happens when you turn the car on and off to allow the evaporator to air out in the car. It puts itself in non recirculating mode when you turn it off and when you turn it back on, it goes back to recirculating. Just replace the actuator next to the cabin filter. 🤟🏼

When you start and stop the truck the motor at controls where the air is going too go tries to cycle positions each time. You could just move the lever to where you like your air going and unplug the motor so it stops clicking. Grab your tape and zip ties to keep the lever in place.

It's definitely the blower motor or some part of the HVAC system. My friends Mazda 3 does the same thing every time he starts it.

that sound is the blend door trying to move but the sensor is bad that tells it when its in position. so it just keeps going till the sensor stops it.
