Thank you for this video and honesty about initially riding. I'm 42 and this will be my first bike. I just want to weekend cruise and grab lunch during the week, nothing crazy.

I also chose the Trident 660 as my first bike as well, just over a month ago now. i have 1300 miles on it so far and i love it. Its just such a friendly bike compared to others for a great price. My bike: 2023 Triumph Trident 660 (Baja Orange) Mods: Radiator guard protector (Union Jack flag style), Amazon Fenrir CNC Aluminum bar end mirrors (Tear drop looking ones), Amazon Universal front and rear axle sliders with crash pads, Amazon Lorababer light smoked wind deflector, Amazon ( quite a bit bigger than a fly screen, I was shocked at how much pressure is on your body at highway speeds here in tx 70mph, so I wanted something bigger to take pressure off and this did quite well ) Triumph engine sliders, Dealer Techmount power techgripper, Cyclegear ( i was also thinking about getting a quadlock, however i already have a nice rubber case and the gripper hold extremally well and the rubber case really dampens the vibrations.) Atlas Throttle Lock, Their website or amazon (HOWEVER it does not fit the greatest on my bike and required some modifications, it also does not hold under bumps very well. so im not sure if i would recommend it.) I enjoyed your video and am looking forward to more, i will say practice is important. Follow motojitsu on youtube if you have not already, great advice and he has an app to really dial in your skills. One thing I did also notice and i hope you don't mind me saying is your letting out your clutch super hard on shifting. Easy on the letting out, jerking the bike can cause traction issues in wet or slippery conditions (ASK ME HOW I KNOW) but can also have a pretty heavy impact on your transmission. Smoothing it out especially at those lower speeds will make the ride and shifting much more enjoyable. :) We also have the same jacket, although mine is all black. ( should of bought the light grey for the Texas summers but it vents well enough so when I'm moving it feels good)

Hello, some complain about the throttle of the trident being a bit delayed. What do you think?
@nathanyt Жыл бұрын
I think that's a break-in period limiter. Some say after the first service the issue is gone, so Triumph must be setting it up that way.

Yeah, there is, but only on idle, once on the move, I haven't found any issues.
