Please don't use WD40 on your chain. It's not a lubricant and as cleaner will kill your O rings which will lead to your chain failing. Always best to use a specialist chain cleaner and lubricant. Besides that little point I loved the vid as always.

So many people think regular WD40 will clean and lube chains and sadly I have seen bike chains snap during rides from it hence my worries 🙈 Thanks for clarifying it's the specialist chain lube you use. @@kevinstone2303 that's a bs myth. Wd40 doesn't kill o-rings. It will clean a chain from rust and debris but it's not a lubricant for your chain. If someone is solely using it for a lubricant then that's where you're getting breaks.

Even a rucksack it's no problem: my road trips take at least no more than seven days,so I don't need a lot of room. (I stay at hotels, no camping gear to transport). Triumph are being more than a little bit cheeky putting the Union Jacks on the tank considering that practically all their bikes are made in three factories in Thailand nowadays. I have had various new Triumphs for over 20 years now and I am highly unimpressed with the movement of production from the UK.
@nizzy99k3 жыл бұрын
It’s a bit like Apple they stamp “Designed in California” on all mobiles and Tablets but they are all made elsewhere Triumph has six-world class factories around the world. Two of these factories are based in Hinckley in the UK, just a stone’s throw from the Mallory Park race track. There are also three factories in Chonburi, Thailand, and one in Manaus, Brazil. Every Triumph motorcycle begins its life in Hinckley, where all of our design work, prototype construction and engineering takes place. Designed in England will be what they’ll argue
@SaffySprocket3 жыл бұрын
Would people buy Triumphs if they were 4x the price for the sake of being made in the Uk? Because I'm not convinced they would. People want competitive prices and in order to get those competitive prices, you need to outsource to overseas counties where the cost of labour is much smaller
@nizzy99k3 жыл бұрын
Don’t disagree Saffy, I bought my Triumph because it’s a lot of bike for the money.
@acoupleofthreethings32493 жыл бұрын
@@SaffySprocket Triumphs wouldn't be 4x the price if they were manufactured in the UK and before you blame Brexit, Triumph had already massively cut down on production at Hinckley before the referendum. Moto Guzzi and BMW make most of their bikes in Europe, so why don't Triumph? Greed
@SaffySprocket3 жыл бұрын
Probably because Triumph is a smaller market player, they don't have the same buying capacity. BMW has a huge market share and can access bulk discounts which Triumph probably won't be able to access thanks to anti-competative laws
