The Trident is a great little bike. I was loaned one when my Street Triple was being serviced. Light, agile, easy to have fun on. I hope you have many years of riding pleasure. I have been riding a motorcycle since 1962, loved every minute of it..

I have a Triumph Street Twin, that my daughter is continuing to learn on. She got her mc endorsement several months ago, doesn't have a bike of her own yet, so I'm letting her ride my Street Twin. Great beginner bike, like your Trident, not imposing, easy to handle, low seat height, etc. I've been riding since the early 80's, and these Triumphs have enough character and fun factor that my Street Twin keeps my smiling as well. Congrats on your new bike!

That reminds me of when my wife decided she wanted to get off of the back of my Harley Electraglide and get her own Harley Sportster. Twenty years ago! Hard to believe. My lady loves her brand new Trident and rides it to work more often than I ride my bike. It doesn't like going into first either. I rock the bike to get it in gear sometimes. As I get to maneuver the Trident around the driveway as well. When I ride it on the road it does handle very well and has some get up go.

Owned a Trident for a while and absolutely loved it. It's only flaw was a second of latency between the accelerator and actual acceleration in first gear. Otherwise a great fun small bike! Enjoy. PS: I only sold it because Paris made parking prohibitive for ICEs and free for electric motorcyles.
