Honestly, as a mom of 2 and soon 3, I highly highly recommend not only buying second hand - from friends is ideal but also there are a lot of good second hand sites per country, I feel - but also swapping with friends. For instance, between my second and third, I gave my bassinet, sleepy head, and other baby bits to a friend who was having her first and now that I'll soon need it back, her baby has outgrown most if not all of it. Bottom line : if you want new and can afford new, why not, but there really is no need... babies outgrow things so fast, they're hardly used ! 💋💋💋

Love this video. It's such a minefield on what to buy as there are so many options. Facebook marketplace has been amazing for second hand items.

Definitely agree re how much I found myself spending on my new baby - I totted it up and it was in the region of £2K. The big ticket items were the buggy and car seat for sure and I also got the same Cybex car seat based on Flyer’s recommendation - I’ve always found she gives really solid recommendations that always work out for me. Also agree re the Snuzpod - it’s a great cot. I love watching these new mum vids and looking forward to the others xx

The nappy bag, do you not undo the velcro, pull it out of the loop then reattach over the buggy handle? Does that make sense? So the bit your arm goes through goes around the handle. Just a thought, congrats by the way, Gabriel is gorgeous. My son is 4 1/2 weeks old so can relate to your content at the minute x
