Wow I did not expect to see the JAM supported that quickly by your DrivenByMoss extension after reading the requests in the KVR thread a few weeks ago. Thanks so much I will never sell mine ^^

Fantastic, many thanks for all the time you put into these scrips! Good opportunity to put the Jam back on the desk.

Maschine JAM is the best controller with "8" effect strips, so sad NI stopped making the JAM. May be people can show some interest in the JAM. ASK NI to make some more?

I wish the Jam worked on Linux! Got one doing nothing since dropping Maschine software, but enamoured with the idea of routing Bitwig into something like Reaper as an "external instrument".

There is an open source driver available on GitHub. However the mapping is quite different to the one on Windows/macOS and some things do not work. Nevertheless, it should be sufficient to get some use out of it with e.g. Generic Flexi.

Browser not working in bitwig 5??
@mossgraber Жыл бұрын
Looks good to me (besides the fact the the collections column is currently not available, this needs to be adapted by Bitwig to the new browser). What's the issue?

It can do panning. See the manual for details.

not sure if i'm being stupid but whats the command for "New Clip" ? cannot find it in the manual.
@mossgraber Жыл бұрын
As default it is Shift+Record but you can also configure it to be Record only (see the settings). Furthermore, you can configure it on the session grid as well.

Hallo, gibt es eine Möglichkeit das es auch unter Linux funktioniert? Man bekommt unter Linux ja die Fehlermeldung "Maschine is not supported on Linux since there is no Native Instruments DAW Integration Host."

Leider nein.

hi great scripts just a quick question could a video showing it working with reaper
@mossgraber2 жыл бұрын
It is basically identical. The differences between Reaper and Bitwig are explained in detail in the manual (section 3.2).

everyone, no exception, likes the jam. I have one an it's sucha cool controller. On NI forums and Maschine Beta forums everyone and their mother asks them to keep supporting it, but it looks like the market spoke louder? Or bad decision from NI? Thank you for the script

Hey this is way far away of my mind! Great! What do you think about For Maschine Software To use LaunchPads or LaunchKeys as Maschine Hardware do it natively like this video? Anyway good job!
@mossgraber3 жыл бұрын
I am not sure if I understood your question. You are asking if you can use other devices with the Maschine software? There is some basic MIDI mapping you can do but this is not really deeply integrated.
@yo5hhhh7293 жыл бұрын
@@mossgraber thx. Yes I know it but not deeply integrated something like Sequencer/Scene or Pattern controlling. Just asked if you don’t mind to. one more question, what about JAM for Reaper on DBM12.x ? Hope it could go on next time.

Me again, sorry for the bother... now that I had a few days playing with it, here are two opportunities for improvement....been using Marc's script as a base line, so I am not coming from the Bitwig/NI factory script - github.com/marctdt/Bitwig_MaschineJam - The pads don't light up when clips are selected, which is unpractical. And for esthetics... I am not a big friend of the current track having all unused pads light up red. When my track color is red, it looks like all clips are filled.
@mossgraber3 жыл бұрын
Seems I forgot to implement the blinking of pads, therefore play and select states are not visible. Will be fixed in the next update. For the recording states I remember the discussion with Push :-) Will add the same option!
