Right out of the bat, the lip color is marvelous. Been interested in the liners as well. But I loved the quads as well. I love cool tones. Damn, those liners are beautiful.

Sheglam came up with pencil multichrome liners about a year ago. Otherwise these are offered by Chinese wholesalers on Alibaba. Kaleidos is a Chinese owned brand, so no surprise there. I wish they'd offer bigger palettes, I like the more vibrant purple quad but if I wanted to get the pink purple multichrome I'd have to buy both quads. That of course only works for people who like smaller palettes and don't own multichromes. I think the motif is supposed to be a stylized iris flower, the petals and whatnot. But it does look like fallopian tubes lol.

Oh man, I'm so incredibly pumped for this collection now! Kaleidos is my #1 brand, their shimmers have pretty much ruined me for everything else, nothing else in my collection is as special

This was a great review. You've often described Kaleidos as doing colourful makeup in a way that is approachable for people who are more comfortable with neutrals, because the textures and specific shades make them flattering and possible to wear in low-key ways. I've really found that to be the case and as a boring neutrals person I'm finding them to be my favourite way to wear colour on my face. That said I almost never wear purple and am bad at any eyeliner that isn't tightlining so I'll be skipping this particular collection!

They ARE ovaries and you're the only person I've heard say it out loud! 🤣 I've watched other reviews because I'm also REALLY excited about the liners, and no one addressed the shape of the collection logo.

The little thing does look like a uterus and ovaries, and I have no objection to that. I would probably consider buying at least one of them just to makeup packaging that features them (but it's also a really pretty collection and I'm definitely tempted by some of the eyeliners and the more muted purple quad).

danessa myricks launched multichrome pencils way earlier than kaleidos! but they are micro pencils and the two I own are pretty sheer and not worth the money. I found ways to use them to achieve pretty effects, but I still wouldn't recommend them

Sorry if it sounds weird but I just love hearing you talk :P that purple liner was gorgeous.. I think I might pick up the indigo quad.. it's just my favorite color. I think the more muted one is beautiful as well but that one is more unique and I know the quality is going to be good. I could use it in my collection. I just forget if these are magnetic or not but I have a feeling they aren't

Oh good to know, yeah I am sure they exist from a few brands, but I personally have never come across them until now... not that I looked hard though haha Danessa Myricks is available in Morphe stores in Australia but the range is very limited, so I am not super familiar with everything they stock, they unfortunately don't sell their pencil liners here

The collection is a celebration of women and motherhood, according to the promos - so it's absolutely a womb + ovaries.

I think they should've released a new lip set with blue(s) and cool toned nudes, which are missing from their range, and then released the multichrome liners with a new multichrome highlight, or with an expansion to a more diverse blush and bronzer range. Definitely cheeks are a hole in their brand, as well.

There is another brand that makes retractable duochrome liners called FiftyFifty Makeup (50/50 Makeup) if anyone is interested, who have some very reasonably priced make-up throughout their line.🇦🇺💖🕊

Since Kaleidos is Chinese based this eyeliners are more than likely the same that Sheglam has, and those are under $4 and pretty good quality!!
