great video and review, thanks. If I may give some advice the audio could use some work, it sounds like you're far from the mic, and there's a lot of background noise. I find good audio is what really makes the big reviewers stand out.

Yes the audio is an issue with my videos which I hope to sort with some new recording equipment

If the Nintendo Switch doesn't count, then the *New Nintendo 3DS* is the closest thing that Nintendo made to a successor for the 3DS in general. I already own an Old 3DS and an Old 3DS XL (i've lost several 3DS games throughout the years), and I do consider buying a New 2DS XL, but I already have so many functional devices at home (half of which are video-game platforms), and I currently need to raise my own money in order to buy a new, bigger house, that I prefer to put my consideration of buying a New 2DS XL on-hold until I'm wealthy enough to not only use my money wisely, but also have a clean garage/attic where I could organize my collection of personally liked video-games, that is once I finally manage to afford a bigger & better house for me to live in. Until further notice, I won't buy a New 2DS XL anytime soon, even though as much as I actually would still love & want to. Great video, BTW.

I didn't like the New 2DS XL. Hold out until you can get a New 3DS XL. A much better console.

Great review! It's the best one I've found on KZbin. I'm getting my new 3DS XL tomorrow and I'm looking forward to playing the Zelda games, especially Ocarina of Time. I played the original, but the remake looks so much better. Anyway, I liked and subscribed! 👍

I have a question about the hinge, I got a New 3rd XL and the hinge clicks in place but still wobbles a bit on the second click unlike my old first 3ds which stayed in place and didn’t move. Wonder if yours wobbles a bit and this is just an XL thing because of the top heaviness of the device .

Yeah, the top screen is a little wobbly. It's a bit too heavy. My red 3ds xl does the same thing.

You have no idea do you. 3ds still has so many good titles that are exclusive to the system. Yes they can be emulated but the dual screen 3D is THE way to play those titles. I just emulate switch on my steam deck and its literally the same experience💀 it's just an underpowered scam of a system
