If these were actual games and I was trying to make my decision based on the name and box legendary... I'd have to go with Pokemon Brain. I like the look of the mascot and it's alternate pose is what sealed the deal for me. Also, I saw these videos out of order so for some reason when I saw the Brain's mascot I kept getting Fairy typing vibes... maybe it was the "frills" in its design haha!

A little too late, but I came up with the mottos for Teams Brain and Brawn respectively: Team Brain: "First strikes decides the outcome." Team Brawn: "Last one standing wins."

@@mykemon_regions For the former, I had Sun Tzu's quote in mind, and given that Team Brain is about tactical battling, it would be within them to study all kinds of tactics and end the battles quickly as a matter of practicallity. For the latter, it's a simple endurance contest and with Team Brawn being super athletes, they know that the fight isn't over either until the buzzer rings or they outlast their opponent. And yes, you may use those mottos for the villain teams in the coming fangame.

I always love pokémon (fan made or not) that subvert my expectations. I like that feeling of "gotcha" when battling a new pokémon I don't know anything about. Ilruse, I feel, would be one of those pokémon for me. I would have thought: "Trickster? This pokémon is a fairy type" Just to get blasted by a psychic. Very fun design, very crative. Well done.

the mythic pokemon (whatever mew and the lake trio are categorized as) have to be based on Hel and Baldur. Hel has to a ghost dark type and Baldur being a normal psychic type. I say normal because Baldur is the Norse Version of the Christian God aka Arceus and Arcues is default normal type. Hel is also Loki's daughter and Baldur is Thor's brother as well. Also Frigga would be the good third legendary as she is the goddess of marriage which is bringing to people together

A little late to the party, but I really like this idea, being a Scandinavian myself, Drekeon and Sthormr are probably my favorite of the mons. Also, I doubt it was intentional in any way, but I like that Sthormr and Illruse look kinda similar to how Thor and Loki look in the Shin Megami Tensei series, which is my favorite game series, though as I said, I doubt that was intentional since they are based on the same gods. I also like that the rival is a redhead, as one myself, it's nice to see one with a leading role since they're really isn't a lot of them in other medias from what I know.

As you said yourself it’s literally called Team Brain 😅 it’s more about the concept of using your Brian/intellect like Illruse/Loki than deceiving others like Loki which is where the dark typing would factor in. If you watch the video through you’ll see the concepts of Brain vs Brawn are more important than the legendaries themselves and the dark typing doesn’t factor into that narrative as well as the psychic typing.

Hahaha the Leweka Region isn’t Wakanda it’s just that once again people aren’t familiar with African culture or fashion so most of what they recognize is from Black Panther which also takes inspiration from all over Africa. So that’s all they have to associate things with as they assume it’s a reference to BP but it’s really a reference to the culture. 🤣

@@desrochessimon3044 yes, that’s the point - to do something different. Pokémon fans often complain the games are too formulaic. They will have human forms/disguises tho so the teams wont realize the actual Divine Pokémon they worship are their leaders. Divine Pokémon like those in Leweka are a sub category of legendaries like mythicals or UB’s who can speak and train Pokémon much like Mewtwo in the first movie since they’re inspired by literal gods from various mythologies. The Leweka ones being inspired by Egyptian Gods: Horus & Set and the Fyrún ones being inspired by Norse Gods: Loki & Thor.
