Can the cold output be connected to existing ac ducting you think? Think its powerful enough to blow through the outlets in the ceiling? Driving a ford transit 350.thanks

While we haven't tested with your particular ducting, the blower can blow up to 30mph and has one of the highest capacity in this class. It should be work well for your case.

Would this unit work installed semi-permanently outside beside or under our off grid camper? Ideally run from our 12 volt batteries part of our solar system. Can the unit be reversed to heat vs cool like some heat pumps? Or would a different model be better? Ideally option to pull lower amps. Thanks.

Thanks for your interest. The front intake and control panel are not water-proofed. It will work if you can leave it underneath your camper or cover it to prevent water intrusion. Currently it does not have a heat pump.

The unit needs to be installed inside the vehicle as the intake is not protected against water and elements.

Yes it will work up to 150F. If it's 300ah lithium battery, it will last 5-9 hrs depending on the mode. Run time will be halfed if it' lead acid battery.

It would be great to see a variety of installs- vans- vented down, side, and reviews. What is the amps? Bluetti AC300 12v max is 30 amps which is crazy low imo.

We will have more install videos later. We require 60A power source. 30A would work on eco mode but you won't get the full capacity of the unit

@@velitcamping I am the one who messaged you through your www. I thought about ECO mode also. What are the BTUs on ECO? It is looking to be my only option other than a 110v AC.

@@Bellasafari In ECO mode, the cooling capacity will only be around 4000 BTU. In that case, one potential option is to get a 12V 60A power supply to run from the AC outlet of your power station. You will lose some efficiency but it still consumes less power than 110V ACs

Maybe a dumb question... Can this be powered by the DC output of an echo flow delta pro?

Thanks for your interest! Technically the delta pro can output high power 48V through it's external battery port, which is what it uses to power the wave 2 portable AC. In that case, it can directly power the 48V version of 2000U. You would need to verify with ecoflow on that and you will need to DIY a wiring harness. Alternatively, you can use a $70 800W 120V to 12V power supply to connect to the 120V outlet on the delta pro. Thanks for your support. We are working very limited room for this under-bench unit. 8000BTU is about the maximum 12V compressor can do as well. A lot of cooling capacity provided by some manufacturers are highly-overrated.

Seal your vans airleaks from inside to outside. Create some pressure difference and take a smoke pen to it. Insulation does little if you have air leaks. Start with air leaks, then add insulation and radiant barrier. Also, window shading as needed is configurable based on orientation. The more air-tight you have it, the less btu you need. You may need to add a makeup air , manual, or based on pressure differentials.

In fact, for this particular model, we lead the entire design and we allowed them to sell to countries we do not service to use their manufacturing facility. You could ask them what Velit's role is in the R&D process.
