For example, there is no problem with this Yakiniku restaurant, but it would be inappropriate for a restaurant in a slightly more upscale hotel. I guess it also depends on the type of hat. I don't think it would be a problem at a regular restaurant.

@@japanbuffet wow thanks. you are so nice. i was planning to wear just a normal black baseball cap, nothing fancy. the most upscale i plan to go might be conrad hotel buffet. do you think that is acceptable to wear?

also, if you had to suggest like top 5 lunch buffets that you enjoyed the most, would that be possible? around osaka,kyoto. because all of them looks good. i dont know how to prioritize for my 10 day trip ☺️. but i guess in japan, its most likely, the more expensive the better?
