A Vibrant Open World
Featuring a day/night cycle, dynamic weather, and cyclical ecosystems, the world of The Front is a realistic and immersive one. Contend with hunger and thirst, fight unique enemies, engage in deadly gun raids, and roar across the land in powerful tanks. Explore dense forests, snowy regions, and deserts found across a map of 36km² in size.
Fight to Survive
Your main objective is to survive the elements, fight beasts, and stave off enemy attacks. The Front features a plethora of tools and weapons to help you, with more than 400 technical formulas to learn. To craft tools and weapons, you will need to visit ruins, occupied territory, underground factories, and other distinct areas to collect rare resources such as core parts and blueprints.
Build a Base
From fixed structures to mobile platforms, you will have a variety of structures at your disposal. Water systems and power systems enable the use of sprinklers for planting, energy for sensor lights, and turrets for defense, as well as many other functions. Set traps that can explore or release poisonous gas to deal with uninvited guests. In The Front, every confrontation is a matter of life or death.
Augment Weapons and Vehicles
The Front features a rich arsenal of weapons and accessories with different functions, from sights, grips, tactical flashlights, and night vision devices that can be equipped on weapons, to anti-aircraft machine guns, external armor, and jamming devices that can be placed on vehicles. Adjust your loadout to ensure the functionality and stability of your equipment suits the situation.
By Land, Air, and Sea
Find the perfect hiding spot in the mountains to take enemies out using a sniper rifle, engage in frenetic vehicular combat along perilous cliffside roads, hear the crunching of sand beneath your treads as you drive your tank across vast deserts, drive amphibious vehicles across the water at full power, skim the treetops in your helicopter to avoid anti-air defenses, or man those anti-air defenses yourself to swat pesky threats that appear out of the sky. The Front features a wide range of adrenaline-packed modern combat experiences that will make your heart pound with the excitement of battle.

I'm happy for all the different ways to play (single, co-op etc). Hope they have dedicated server options. Map looks huge! I assume that each biome will scale up like 7d2d.

First time viewer here, but holy crap ... (at the end of the video) just read your mission tasks in the upper right. Straight up tells you: window frame, door frame, window, & door. LOL But for real, MOST survival games give you the same mission task window at the beginning of the game at least & 90% of the time, it is in the upper right of the screen too. I will be looking for more videos on this game though, because it does look interesting, since I & my community play a lot of survival games together.

ok 5:51 minutes in and I really like the UI/UE its different from most other survival games but still has the basics that I think most look for in these types of games. 14:42 awesome "newby" mechanic if you will you die and revive on location. Lots of interesting tech and really good looking world. I wonder if the maps are randomly generated or if its the same for every play. The ratio of the biomes look interesting, this seems like something that would take a while to really explore and it would be a long time before a single player or even a group of people to get "tired of". 15:43 awesome swimming mechanic and the PC doesn't just fall to the ground under the water *cough cough* 22:22 The spec tree is good IMO, there is even little discerptions for the upgrades and there is tabs for each type of tech you can/will learn. This is cool and even leaves room for improvements such as more building options (maybe different types of blocks or different shapes) 27:48 I like the grind as well, collecting resources isn't hard and you get a "fair" amount but you don't get so much that you can "stock" up in 5 minutes Also would love to see more of this game❤

The foundation as you're putting it down has a "change type" button on the bottom right.. Probably would of changed to stairs or a ramp

I know I'm late but there is a cliff ledge that you could of used that would have taken you straight across to your base. So you can avoid worrying about fall damage. I noticed it back when you first tried to build steps. After you built your campfire.

Any idea why I can't place structures? I keep dying because I can't place a fire for food. All my structures just show up red and say that I can't build there. I'm on single player too.

You flashed past it so fast but I'm pretty sure it said the door and window needed to be placed in a frame. But I also didn't see a tech or an option to change the type of wall you built. You missed looting the crate in that building you killed the vagrant in, it was literally right next to him. You need to slow down if you're going to show a new game imho.

Looting the box adds nothing, we want to see more of what the game offers such as the village nearby, fighting, crafting, building, etc. I am not slowing down to check a crate. That is saved for live streams or a series. This video is to showcase the game in general and get a feel for it.

You have to ask the developers to play this game right now if you're not a gamer KZbinr. So I asked a week ago and the developers haven't even responded to me. So if I want to play this I'll wait till it's free, bc it states to ask and then developer would return to you about playing before it comes out so I can see the developers for this game only wants to hype this game up and then sell it and then do nothing to better this game after they sell it to you. Why with this game and with Starfield are they including such wimpy looking characters with emo haircuts? Game looks great otherwise! I’d love to see an improved Green Hell type of game in the Arctic or maybe with some mechanics of Far Cry Primal included. The character models do look decent starting out 👍
