Covid isn't so unique that we can't do anything about it. It's not the uniqueness of COVID which is "bullying us". We have had antivirals for a long time. We are probably not training doctors correctly, and this is why there's no one left for our global village to blame COVID on, other than the US. Is there any doubt that we should be training doctors who can accept responsibility for not being able to save us when we have gotten a new virus (just like all other viruses, all of which were new at one point)? Mankind has faced new viruses before, so why are we all so focused on the genetic sequence of COVID and all the other things which make COVID harder to kill?

They said they discovered those children had covid a few months back. This is just one of likely thousands of different medical catastrophes that this novel virus that we know nothing about will do, and will have the potential to end humanity as we know it and cause chaos. That is why I don't want to get infected with this novel virus with its disgusting spike protein. How do we know thousands of more medical catastrophes, or premature death en masse will not happen over the next few years. It is a huge question mark. Yet they are literally choosing to gamble and give everybody this virus, neglecting research, and pretending that the V alone is sufficient.

I haven't had time to watch Dr Been's presentation on Paxlovid (though I'm sure it was excellent and thorough--and hope to once I've watched several other videos I have in my queue). If anyone can summarize what he said, I'd appreciate it. A troubling thing I've seen about Paxlovid is that there have been recent reports that some people who have been treated with it test negative for Covid and think they have cleared it, then have a relapse. This is concerning because they (thinking they are temporarily safe from infecting others) might visit immunocompromised patients, and I think it's unknown how rare this phenomena is. Another problem with Paxlovid is that it can have serious interactions with common over-the-counter and prescription drugs, so people who are on medication need to be extra careful.

Silence. Get the V then get infected and get permanent damage from long covid. As long as you don't make the politicians look bad by having hospital system collapse at any one point due to immediate respiratory symptoms, it is fine, nothing else matters, if you get permanent brain and heart damage then they can just replace you with a cheap foreign worker.

In terms of the number of days that symptoms were relieved per their testing, I got the same results taking current over the counter flu medicines. Many but not all symptoms were relieved and the virus was defeated by my body in about 4-6 days. Pretty sure I had either the alpha or beta virus type given the time frame I was sick. So, I don’t see any miracle need for yet another drug that does not completely work better and may cause serious effects on pregnant women. If it becomes over the counter how do you insure that a pregnant woman will not take it? Just another way for a drug company to try and make profit. No thanks.
