Kudos to Bernard for raising this important issue. Even if this only helps one young person get some help and support it was worth it.

2:08 I could listen to what Bernard said here on repeat for the rest of my life. It’s so empowering for someone to speak out for young peoples’ mental health. I love New Order

I’ve been on the nhs waiting list to see a psychiatrist for 4 months now. I’m nothing too serious but I have mild depression and anxiety. It’s debilitating however.

I suffer from depression. I am 54. I have always had plenty of friends. Hobbies and work ethic. I enjoy watching live bands. New order are well connected to their roots and fans. God gave me a life to live. I don't bother voting for Any political party. Power, corruption & lies.!

Bernard's so right about this. I would add that mental health funding in general is criminally underfunded. I have grown up with a family member with pretty serious problems. I had to fight really hard to get anyone to take their case seriously. Now, they are on the decline again and it's the same situation all over again. I feel that some people with mental health problems are left to rot, completely abandoned by the government and by the professionals whose expertise they need. And families aren't given any support. I have had to bear this sadness and responsibility alone all my life.

I am the biggest N.O. fan (IMHO). That said, England can totally afford 2 aircraft carriers and funding for mental health, any health. They are not mutually exclusive.

As a youth worker and fan of the band can only wholeheartedly agree with the points Bernard has made. Whilst there is a better acceptance to talk about mental health there is still a long way to go in improving services for young people. The CAHMS services for young people are underfunded and have seen huge increases in demands of their services over the last few years. Support for young people via other avenues such as youth services have been decimated over the last ten years too.

@@dedg0st Love all the piling in on Britain nowadays. Without Britain most the rest of the world would still be rolling around in mud. Now, they bring the mud here on their own to roll around in. Anti British rhetoric is only jealousy at this point.
