Boeing has reported 33 aircraft cancellations and low deliveries across April as the manufacturer battles with ongoing investigations. Next, flydubai is readying for delivery of 30 Boeing 787s, which it says will make flights to Australia alongside other destinations possible. Meanwhile, Qantas has announced it will axe flights between Sydney and Shanghai from July 28 following low demand on the route.

Thank you for putting forward the Key event that matters. The omission I believe is a Time Zone issue and was irrespective of manufacturer BUT a fact that with the rise in flights turbulence problems are going to become much more common. We have become immune to deaths on the road BUT this exception shows Aircraft Safety. Now I am older, 73, is young, and for us is more shocking because it is not necessarily aged related casualty. RIP and hope the families have privacy to cope.

I really don’t think that with this crew (executives) running the show, nothing much will change at Boeing. Perhaps initially, but I also understand that the attitudes of most of Boeings workers need to change as well. It is extremely difficult to change an entire culture.

I am happy Boeing is taking the time to do their job correctly. Nobody wants to get on a plane they don’t trust. That being said, with all the warnings you have laid out in the past I don’t recall an accident resulting from poor design or assembly. I have always said “if it’s not Boeing” My wife is Chinese so I know about long flights. I’d rather be on a 787 over a 380 any day.

For some of us, seeing that Boeing appears to be policing itself is actually a good sign. If they're allowed to produce 38 737 a month (not 38 total aircraft), then it should be good to know that they're making the right moves. However, they can't win for losing, because all the talk is now about delivery delays, then covering up with a footnote that Airbus has delays too. SMH. Why don't we talk about aircraft that Airbus has already delivered, but has to be grounded because of engine issues? Here, that doesn't matter as long as the aircraft are being delivered, right? Again, SMH.

So what's the total now??? Gotta be pushing almost 700 320 series aircraft grounded by now.

I have never worked for Boeing directly, but I have worked my whole life at subcontractors. Machined parts, subassemblies, and compoite components were of the highest quality. Even minor defects would not be accepted. It troubles me to see how Boeing is being portrayed by this channel. The last place I worked, Boeing parts were being manufactured right next to Airbus parts. According to this guy, only the Airbus parts are any good. Boeing has final assembly problems related to mechanics inspecting their own work. Pretty simple fix, really. Boeing's materials and process research done from the 1940 through to present are the backbone of the Aerospace industry. Just because Airbus robbed them, made minor changes, and called it their own, doesn't mean that Airbus is superior.

Airbus cannot handle all the airlines around the world ordering from them, idk how stupid you guys are to not realise airbus and boeing are options for airliners and allow for plane delivery load to not only be less but allows for upcoming airlines to get their hands on either a boeing or an airbus to fit their requirements.
