Great tip about there being another Cafe Du Monde location in New Orleans!

Another tip from a viewer is that you can request your beignets well fried if you don’t want it ‘doughy’ in the center.

Fun in the sun! We call them crawdads up here in Washington. Use to go crawdaden in the whiteriver and catch bare handed! Good stuff!! ☺️🌸🤙🌺

The ones we had at Rouse's Market were wild caught. Not sure if farm raised ones taste any different. Bare handed? That's pretty good, Diana!

Hi guys! I finally found & purchased “Purple Haze” @ our local grocery store. I like beer more than my hubby, especially trying different ones. I know you guys love this one, but I’d prob give it a 5 outta 10. Thx for the suggestion tho!😊🍻😎

Nice! It’s a flavored raspberry beer, not for everyone, but great with some chargrilled oysters. lol

I'm an Acme Oyster fan!!! It certainly is worth it to Uber over to The Rouses on Barone st . in comparison to The Rouses on Royal in The French Quarter it's so much bigger and so much cheaper. This location is always a must stop every visit.

That burger must have tasted as good as it looked ! ...and forget Harrahs ...that market is the winning spot ! (even you looked a little underwhelmed ..haha). Thanks again.

Props to you guys for showcasing the Greatest City in the South ! I see y'all figured out how to eat an authentic CAJUN Feast at a Supermarket, for peanuts ! The Drago's you visited 'i don't think', Is The Main Restaurant, and I've been told that Drago's is where the Charbroiled Oysters originated ! I Also frequent Acme oysters, and we actually have a Location in Baton Rouge ! I've had both Drago's Charbroiled at the Major Golf tournament held each year across the River from N.O., and those in the Quarters ! To me, ACME wins hands Down !! YUM The reason the Beignets at the Smaller CAFE D' are better is because they actually fry them longer ! The Original Cafe D' is usually so busy, the kinda rush the Process ! If you visit the Original Cafe D', just ask the Usually Asian waitress to have your Beignets cooked Longer ! When fried longer, the Beignets are actually Sweeter, and that's before the Powdered Sugar completes the Dish ! The Lunch Buffet at Harrah's is usually pretty good , and not that expensive ! I am surprised you were able to Video inside Harrah's, Security usually will not let you video, or take Pictures !! Go Figure ⚜️

Agreed, our favorite chargrilled oysters are from ACME. We love New Orleans and look forward to our next trip there.

I think I laughed a little too hard at those foggy glasses! I'm not a seafood person; kinda wish I was, 'cause a lot of people like it. The oysters, I could never try! Not the crabs either, they look rotten inside; ha! I maybe could try the crawfish, not really sure, I'd probably wind up getting sick! Love your videos

Lisa, I like how you pronounce ''New Orleans''. You sound like a local. On your next visit to N.O., do not walk on Bourbon Street late at night...Please don't. 🤷♂️
