Just to compare the two: When Blizzard found out that people were using Torbjörn's turrets to let them do all the work, they changed his entire kit to force him to interact with the game. Valve saw that Engineers were building fortressess and letting the turret do all the work, so they gave them a taunt that is just a recliner and a free beer, so that they won't get too hassled to stand up and do their job.

It completely depends on what you're playing. Game mode and setting. Community competitive is either 6v6, 2v2, 9v9, 7v7 or 1v1. Casual can be crazy amounts like 16v16 or 12v12.

Fun fact: Those jars do in fact have piss in them and it's also in item in game so for all intents and purposes you can run around and throw piss at people though that's about it. Does no damage (I think), the whole point is to coat spys with it so when they try to go invisible and run away they will have the piss drip off of them and basically outline them for a couple of seconds. Scout can kinda do the same thing but he uses milk.

HoovyDundy is a good horror video series I'll go with how often people in general play each class 1. Soldier- most well rounded class 2. Demoman- sticky spamming galore 3. Scout- obnoxious to fight against with how agile he can be 4. Sniper- you can rarely approach a competent sniper main, cause you will die often 5. Spy- He's the only class that can go invisible 6. Pyro- does a shit ton of fire damage, beware the Phlog 7. Engineer- Best at making nests to maintain a control point 8. Medic- his ubers can change the tide of battle if used properly 9. Heavy- even though he might be the face of TF2, he's honestly the most boring for most players due to him being way too slow. I still main him though cause I like his large health pool.

Tipsy duck has made some really good psychological horror things with these characters. It's surreal seeing these cartoonish, meant to be humorous, characters put in such situations. I really liked the videos like, how to ride a bike, and how to climb a tree. They both sound so innocent, something a child would look up, but they would scar you for life if you did when you were a child like I was. The game's lore for these characters is straight up insane but some of the funniest stuff ever, like how the solider never actually was a soldier, he was rejected by every branch of the military due to insanity, but he went to Poland anyways to go on a "Nazi killing spree", until 1949 when he was told that the war was over. He's also roommates with a wizard named Merasmus and owns a racoon sanctuary. Oh, and Abraham Lincoln canonically died in this universe by trying to rocket jump up his own invention, the world's first flight of stairs, in his laboratory at Ford theater. That's the kind of universe this is.

The sandvich is a secondary weapon for Heavy. You can eat it yourself or toss to another player to heal whoever eats it. Yes those where piss jars in the snipers trailer, and they are a weapon. It will never not be great to see new people tune into these videos XD Some of them kind of paint the wrong picture, though; a few videos here had to cheat a little and don't accurately reflect TF2's gameplay. ~ The Sandwich is one of many different loadout items you can use in place of your stock ones (in this case, it replaces the Heavy's secondary weapon, the shotgun... which he doesn't really need anyway). It doesn't give you any monstrous buff, but it does heal you a LOT and has a cooldown. You can also right-click instead of eating it to toss it as a health-pack to other players. ~ There's a limit to how many stickybombs a Demoman can have out at one time. With the stock launcher, that's eight. Normally they detonate manually, but shooting your next sticky past the limit causes the first one you shot to automatically detonate. ~ Probably goes without saying, but don't run at a Sentry Gun as a Scout. It will not end well for you. ~ Engineer can only have out one Sentry Gun at a time; those different guns are all different upgrade levels of said gun as he builds it up further with his wrench. Also, staying on the move to some degree is something of a must - standing still in the open is a VERY quick way to get sniped. ~ Spy's Sappers can disable Engineer buildings and slowly damages them as ithey're attached - they can't be thrown. Also, attacking in any way drops his disguise. He can cloak himself and temporarily turn invisible, too, but he can't attack while invisible (obviously, that would be extremely noticeable). The key to playing Spy well is to constantly be aware of your surroundings and try to get inside your enemy's heads. ~ That invincibility Ubercharge only lasts about 8 seconds. As glorious as the video makes it look, do NOT default to a Heavy as your target there; he is actually the worst choice for it in most scenarios due to how slow he is. Use it on classes who are actually in a position to do something with it. ~ Flames aren't all a Pyro's about - most of his available flamethrowers also have access to a right-click airblast that knocks back enemy players, extinguishes friendly ones, and reflects enemy projectiles (rockets, pipe grenades, etc.) back in the direction you're pointing at. This airblast is very quick and very difficult to master, but it is by far the most useful tool a Pyro has. Without it you're not going to get very far with this guy. The video also showed off one of his Flare Guns, which take the place of his secondary slot weapon (in his case, a shotgun) much like the Heavy's Sandvich. There's also a ton of different weapons and such you can use to switch up each class's arsenal, and you get to them all pver time by simply playing the game. Each one has upsides and downsides versus the stock weapons they replace, and some of them can potentially completely change the way that class plays (such as the Gunslinger hand for the Engineer; that one replaces his wrench and replaces his usual Sentry Gun with a simpler, one-stage Mini-Sentry that can't be upgraded but is set up quicker and allows you to conserve metal for other buildings. And because of how easily replaceable the Mini-Sentry is, it allows Engineer to be a much more mobile threat and open up more time for him to go in and do some damage. He does have a shotgun after all.)

Don't underestimate the 9 classes of tf2, that's just the tip of the iceberg. Due to the abundance of weapons and items in the game, some item sets can make a certain class play differently than its normal counterpart.

Also fun fact - on the "meet the medic" the reason why in the fridge is blue spy's head is, it is a small reference how the devs intended to make the "meet the medic" video before but it was scrapped off, as i remember on the old version of the "meet the medic" video medic unintendedly ubercharged blue spy's head he were asking medic to "off" him and medic shots him but it didn't work and then medic released that and probably created an ubercharge after that

Best part, they add some of it into the game: Due to the pigeon being in Scout's chest, a pigeon has a small chance to spawn on Scout's death after that released. The cut on Sniper's face from Red Spy is now a scar on Sniper's face. Etc etc ;)

Sitting around is one of the noob-iest ways to play engineer in this game. You don't just build turrets, you build dispensers that regenerate ammo/health as well as teleporters, and people will aim to blow up your stuff. A good engineer isn't just good for area denial but singlehandedly determines how quickly their team can get themselves back to the front line from spawn, and sustain the team with a passive healing/ammo source that can be placed behind whatever cover you want. But it takes time to upgrade everything, and there are gunshots and explosions and enemy spies going around, so it's only ever a passive "sit there and wait" job if you're one of those people who just builds a nest on the last checkpoint and contributes nothing until your team is already losing. You can also block doors and stairs with your dispenser if you feel like being creative, but that's kind of a niche use.

Alternatively there are item builds that encourage a playstyle of plopping down un-upgraded/miniature sentries as disposable sources of cover fire while you go around blasting people in the face with your shotgun. Both sorts of engie have their worth. Really, the true skill check for the class is how aggressive you can be without letting your buildings die.

The reason i love TF2 is cause nearly every class feels balanced. Every class has something they dominate in and something that counters them and you never feel like there is just this one god class that stomps every class with no counters. Some classes can feel that way sometimes but its mostly just cause of who is playing them and not so much the class itself.

I have seen many commentary youtubers watch this video, but few are to leave its community. so I have to welcome you to the world of tf2. if you haven't figured, tf2 is a class based first person shooter where you can pick from 9 class: scout - fast boi with a shotgun and can double jump soldier - rocket launcher, shotgun guy (if you continue, he can rocket jump, leading to some of the most in depth movement out of all the characters) sniper - you would think he is Australian, yet actually comes from new Zealand. then got adopted in Australia after being launched out of a rocket, landing in the country (the gameplay is basic sniper stuff, but you can throw jars of urine on people) medic - main healer of team (can build uber by healing, after reaching 100%, can make you and another person invincible for 8 seconds) pyro - got a flamethrower and stuff, but the flamethrower can bust out air to reflect projectiles spy - this French guy is the most different out of them gameplay wise (he can turn invisible and disguise as the enemy team. also you got a knife that can backstab people that will insta kill ) demoman - he is the very drunk guy. he got a grenade launcher that is hard to hit but does lots of splash damage, and a sticky bomb launcher that can set up traps that can be remotely detonated engineer - he got 11 PhDs. he can build sentry guns (only one at a time, unlike the SFM) and build deepeners to give your team health and ammo and a teleporter to get your team to the frontline faster heavy - big Russian dude with lots of health and minigun that rips at close to medium range. he can also have that sandwich to heal these are the classes that are in it and basic gameplay. you should also know that in the game that there is a system where the classes have a primary, secondary and a melee weapon. which can be swap out for other variations with different stats, making thousands of combinations, that completely change the way you play. e.g. you can give demoman a sword and shield, and let he go to town (its called demo knight) and lastly there is a large hat economy with tons of cosmetics. welcome to tf2

I have yet to meet one who can outsmart bullet." is a reference to a quote by Alexander Suvorov, who in 'The Science of Victory' states "The bullet is a mad thing; only the bayonet knows what it is about." The joke here is two-pronged, he's of course saying "some folks think they can outsmart me, but bullets kill them all the same," but as well, he's calling all the other mercenaries so stupid that they have no clue what they're doing, they can't outsmart a bullet.

Team Fortress 2 is actually a good classic. I, who was an OG Team Fortress 1 player, I still remember the time where I was playing as heavy and kept camping near the entrance and I was literally laughing because everyone was laughing at how the enemies couldn't exit their base.

There’s a fair number of fun details in these that reflect within the actual game, so here’s some examples: The Sandvich is an equip for Heavy(Replaces his shotgun) that got it’s own separate video as an accompaniment for Meet the Heavy after the fact, just because they could. It’s also a great healing item, and you can actually throw it on the ground for other teammates to use as a medpack(There is a whole subset of Heavy players, known as Hoovies or Friendly Heavys, that love to do just that.) Those jars of urine that were piling up behind Sniper aren’t just a funny background detail, they are a whole-ass equip for Sniper that takes the place of his SMG. It’s called Jarate, and it is literally a jar of pee that, when Sniper throws it, explodes into an AoE of piss that can cover enemy players, leaving them vulnerable to mini-crits for a short time and also, helpfully enough, reveals any Spies that happened to be cloaked upon being hit by the Jarate by way of the piss effect rendering their cloak ineffective for the duration. It is as funny and effective as it sounds(And a couple other weapons for Sniper can apply piss, too, humorously enough.) Soldier’s rocket jump and Spy as a whole are actually Ascended Glitches: Rocket jumping is self explanatory, but the Spy’s whole gimmick of turning invisible and also disguising as enemy players was inspired by a glitch in Team Fortress Classic. And while on the subject of Spy and his gimmicks, you know that fancy little knife of his? That actually encompasses Spy’s third major gimmick: Whenever Spy is in position to do a backstab, he will do a special little animation to signal to the player that a backstab can be executed. If the backstab lands, then barring special circumstances, it’s a one hit kill on any poor sap on the receiving end of the backstab. The knife can, of course, also be used as a regular melee weapon(And his revolvers are also not to be ignored, as they can also do good damage in the hands of a practiced player, as evidenced by StaryKrow’s Gunspy videos), but the backstab mechanic makes Spy the only class able to straight up oneshot enemies with a melee attack(Plus his taunt with the knife is one of a few taunts that can actually do damage, if not outright oneshot those close enough to be hit by it. Two other examples of taunts that can do that are the Heavy’s fist taunt(POW, HAHA) and the Sniper’s taunt with the Huntsman)
