This is making the game so tempting to play since I haven't played a new Paper Mario game since Sticker Star, but dropped it halfway through when I got bored and hated how it was just a normal Paper Mario adventure with a paper skin. But seeing dedicated fans of the original games putting the "original" back into Paper Mario is everything, especially since Origami King looks like a good game, but I absolutely wished it had the original characters from the first three entries.

Ill be honest, the mod is flat out amazing, but your voiceover is also really great? It sounds professional, like i might hear it in a nintendo direct. If you werent already pursuing a career in voicework, i think you should give it some thought!

It looks amazing! As I understand, you can use any battle item any time? Would it be possible to add a « Flower Point » system preventing you from always using the strongest attack? Or is it just too complicated to mod the game that way? Keep the great work!

A flower point system would be perfect for how we have weapons but sadly it's just not possible with the current tools we have available. We wanted to actually use Confetti in some way, so I've been looking into that in my spare time.

@@HunterXumanor perhaps you could also make that cost coins? Taking from the players wallet a chunk of money for you to be able to use a item. Making the whole “coins are exp” thing even more interesting.

Coins being tied to well everything you use could make it more interesting when you consider buying time or calling on help from toads, the game already heavily makes coins needed for accessories,weapons,items,etc. also if you are thinking of a way to include exp maybe you could remove the upgrade hearts from the overworld and make them a reward for earning a certain amount of coins in a battle rewarding good play.I dont know if this is possible but im just throwing a possibility out there to make battles more rewarding to players.

About infinite use items, I understand these are working like free attacks, but is there any plans to make it so you can't go all out always for free? Something along the lines of FP?

This is probably the most asked about feature besides EXP. Currently theres no way for us to make this happen, but it IS something we keep trying to do. It would be perfect to do this with confetti, and its what we've been looking into.

Love this mod. Is some sort of EXP system planned? In order to make battles "useful", imho it's the BIGGEST problem with TOK, battles just waste your time. From what i know there's some unused xp stuff in the code

Wanna know something FUNNY? Within the files of Sticker Star, there are strings suggesting that the perfect bonus you get for defeating enemies in a single turn would have given extra experience instead of extra coins! Isn't that FUNNY?! 🤣😂🙂😐😭

Hunter I don't know if you know this but there's a glitch In where if you switch to vanilla, then switch back to refolded, your jump in hammer would be gone.( If you're wondering why I switched to vanilla there was a room crash After you free luigi from the wall at peaches castle ruins)

Little question, for some reason when I have the mod installed, I don't have any weapons? Not even the default boots and hammer, is it a bug or did I installed something wrong? (Playing on Yuzu btw)

When you first start the game on a new file, you wont start with the boots anymore. You will actually get a hammer and boots during the beginning in the dungeon, and you must equip them. We did this so that you can move around your weapons more freely
