This is one of the best, if not the best commander gameplay series. The effort you put in with the great editing, the players thoughts "diary cam" thing, the animations of effects and combos. You take out all the waiting around so we just have what is important and there is still a bit of the chat and politics that makes commander great. Its seriously great stuff, you should be very proud. I only wish there were more of them but I imagine these must take a long time to make and also it would be great to see the Professor in one of these whenever that is possible. P.S Craig don't give into the haters, play infect if you want man, or maybe just have some infect in the deck, win out of no-where with Tainted Strike. Love your work, later on this year when I have some money I'm going to give you some of it.

Josh Lee Kwai I used to play legacy but then wanted to play commander competitively but there is not such format in tournaments. I had a bant enchantment deck with jenara as a commander but she was not vital to the deck. My Serra's sanctum made her big especially with my seed born muse. I used my wheel of sun and moon with energy field and my humility, opalescence, and enchanted evening to make all lands die on entry after playing the combo. I had silence, temple bell and mind over matter to end the game if all else failed. They would always gang up on me as they knew if I got established, they couldn't kill me. I sold all my cards a few years back but keep doing this game play every week so I can relive my commander days.

He didn't "search" for Land Tax. He played Flooded Strand a Fetchland to fetch for a land and use that land to pay for LandTax. He said fetch for LandTax to tell ppl he'll look for a plains card and tap it to pay for LandTax as a kind of dirty shortcut.

commander is the best format, plus there r so many cards that even if you dont have for example phyrexian arena which is a bit expensive, there are always options like underworld connections. Almost the same and cost like 50 cents lol. best format tho some cards r getting kinda expensive i suppose.

Haha - it takes a lot. This one was somewhere around 70 hours to do the editing and graphics and effects. Jimmy also spent another 6-8 hours on color and sound.

The best Vial Smasher interaction I've seen was my friend ramped out Vial Smasher and Charmbreaker Devils really early. Then cast Insurrection, and since it was the only instant or sorcery in his graveyard, he just cast it like 4 turns in a row until he killed everyone. Vial Smasher is just such an innocuous menace in so many games. I have a Smasher/Kraum control deck, and even pinging people for 2 or 3 damage every turn while destroying some permanent they control adds up so much over 3 or 4 turns with her on the field.

Thing with the Massacre Wurm and Kresh play in game 1. To my understanding only -1/-1 counters cancel out +1/+1 counters on creatures, so although Kresh had the debuff for the turn from Massacre Wurm's etb he still receives and keeps the counters gained from the death triggers after the turn ends. Correct me if I'm wrong.

What Chayce said. Kresh only looks at a creatures power when it dies. Because the Massacre wurm gives creatures -2 power they all died with zero power. Hence, no counters.
