New PC Showcase and Build! - Cougar Panzer-S Case Review

A while ago I mentioned that I upgraded my PC and I am now decked out with fresh equipment to play CS:GO at 500 FPS. Well here is the build video, also I review a case from Cougar called the Panzer-S; it is a mid tower case with a ton of cool features. Hope you guys enjoy!

ah hell yeah, I love watching new PC builds. I have the Cougar Panzer Max, and its size negates all of the problems you had with the Panzer-S, and I freaking love this case. That being said, the Max is absolutely massive. It's less than 1mm shorter than the bottom of my desk, and is basically a foot wide. But I love it and Cougar products all the same

Just tips for filming with a camera, the light attached to the camera washes out the subject when you go up close light that. If you're going to continue to use the same light either change the bulb to more of a yellow or put a filter that would change the colour. Also figure out a way to stabilize your shots, I'm not sure a tripod is the answer since you do a lot of panning shots, maybe a handle on the camera rather than holding the camera itself. I also understand filming with camera isn't exactly your channel but I thought I'd say something incase you plan to continue to film. Anyways, love your channel and the content. Congrats man

the panzer is sexy, i just did a custom desk job for the optical drive, and put it under my desk, otherwise, this case is in my top 5 cases oh and rainbow cables dont mix at all with pc builds

Hello, I was wondering if the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Turbo led will fit? The specified height is 163 cm and the panzers' max Cooler Size is 160 cm. Basing it on that would simply say it wont fit but It seems that it would. TIA! Just want to be sure.

Question: why did you went custom loop, but only watercooled your cpu? It feels like a "waste" of money since you didn't watercool your graphics card with it imo because AIOs exist. LongBarrel, please answer this question. wait... did you do it for the green liquid? pls answer me senpai.

I got a custom loop a while ago for my old rig, I was supposed to get a water block for my AMD 7990 as well, but I ended up returning the graphics card and getting a GTX 780 ti which I decided to not water cool. I thought I was going to do overclocking but I never got to that, so I ended up just having a custom loop for the aesthetics.

if you want to cool down your cpu much more (i7 7700k has some IHS Problems with the thermalpaste inside) look for "Der8auers" Delid Mate 2 Video (ID: XopM4p4CBrs ) It will gets you about 20-30°C less temperature under Load even with Watercooling. I did this on my i7-3770k after 5 or 6 yrs now and on the first try i got to -12°C , and i repeated it last week with more "Thermal Conductonaut" and now unter load even overclocking with a AIO Watercooler i dont get above 60°C (normal 3,7GHz about 50°C @100%) All 7700k have this problem

I had to install windows through a USB drive, don't really ever use cd's anymore so I didn't need a cd drive

Also would an EVGA CLC 280 Liquid / Water CPU Cooler, work well with a i7 9700k processor I do not intend to overclock btw

Installing windows from a USB drive is faster and easier than from a DVD drive. Microsoft has a tool for setting up a USB drive to install windows. For the cooling stuff, I've been out of the "loop" from components, so I really can't help you there. Good luck

Pro tip: don't angle your motherboard so "aggressively" like what is shown in the vid, it makes it harder to line it up, "drop" it in flat or at a slight angle. It may help next time.

I like the build EXCEPT for the the ketchup and mustard cables. I gagged when I saw those cables instead of fully sleeved PSU cables or even sleeved PSU extension cables in your rig. Change those out, and I guarantee you'll have a rig that will make people jealous of the visuals.

if your going with higher end components then don't cheap out on the PSU, I would have gone for a new EVGA PSU that is gold rated. Plus, the rainbow cables look really shit.

PSU really doesn't matter. I would say just buy one that exceeds your demands and is modular. That's it. You technically can even run your PC on a PSU that is rated below your demands but it will eventually fail. I've used cheap generic PSUs with rainbow cables for decades without problems. Your components don't know the difference between power from a cheap PSU or a EVGA branded PSU. It is all electrons.
