I wasn't impressed with Noir Extreme Parfum....HOWEVER, with one spray on my hand I received a compliment from a lady 40min after spraying. So take my opinion with a grain of salt 😉

Oh yeah someone else below mentioned it but Guerlain has a new Shalimar Tonka flanker due out in October. Just saw a picture on the website!

I was able to sniff the new Guerlain Oud fragrances Cherry Oud and Oud Nude. Both gorgeous! Cherry Oud is deep, sultry and warm (like TF Lost Cherry’s sultry gothic cousin). Oud Nude is like a “your skin but sexier” with an extremely smooth soft oud & true vanilla. Both worth checking out!

I just read the (very and oddly) specific inspiration behind Indigo Smoke (monks smoking their tea leaves in May 1646 over pinewood … and thus creating lapsang souchong tea … because their monastery in the Wuyi Mountains were attacked by Qing soldiers). Call me intrigued, both by the stories and the notes as I love a good smoky tea fragrance!

Hi Tara! Those are some interesting picks. I will have to sample a few. I am looking forward to the new Shalimar Flanker Millesme Tonka. I am not a huge fan of the original but for some reason looking forward to the notes on this one. Also Unspoken Musk by Francesca Bianchi. I am going to preorder a sample from Luckyscent.

@@missdollwonderland6240 I did. Very sweet. I’ll need a colder weather for this, very sticky sugary berry opening, lovely, not nauseating at all. Then Ylang ylang makes it a bit tropical, and you get lipstick on kinda vibes, just deeper and richer in my opinion. Peru Balsam and Benzoin stay throughout so it just makes thick and dark. I adore it and can’t wait to wear it.

I wore Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry last night… it is just that, a beautiful dark decadent ‘burning cherry’ I absolutely love it! 🍒 A new one / line I’m interested in is Stephane Humbert Lucas 777 SAND DANCE… when I read the notes of whiskey cream, Kashmir wood etc., …. Sounds divine! Right now for every month I stay on my ‘diet’ I add another CH from the confidential collection… Iris Empire is on her way, what a great line! LOVE your videos Tara! 💞

Interesting list! I really want to try indigo smoke too! Arquiste is my favorite house. I just bought Vanilla Milk from Ellis Brooklyn which I believe is just released and it has a vanilla burnt rubber smell which I love because I am one of those odd people that loves a burnt rubber note. It is a great vanilla too!

I reviewed Kayali's Burning Cherry and mentioned I didn't get the raspberry at all (which I was a bit bummed about haha) It is a beautiful cherry if you love gourmands. The smoke/spices are very minimal imo. So not the most complex but I love it. And not all of my fragrances have to take me on a wild journey, sometimes I just wanna smell good 😂

That indigo arquiste bottle is beautiful! I am a sucker for blue glass, haha. I liked lovefest burning cherry but when I wore it around my hubby he said “why do you smell like tobacco?” And scrunched his nose so take that as you will lol. I got mostly cherry personally haha, but everyone’s nose is different. Wanting to try Ellis Brooklyn Vanilla milk but it’s being torn apart on fragrantica so I am nervous as to what to expect. Got a sample of Paris Hilton Ruby Rush from scentbird - it’s a Cherry Vanillic scent. I liked it, easy to wear and had cherries with vanilla ice cream vibes on my skin.

I picked up J’adore D’eau and I’m really enjoying it. Respectable longevity for an alcohol-free fragrance. I smelled Gucci Gorgeous Jasmine in store and that’s on my list, really pretty teal bottle! (Gorgeous Gardenia was too sweet and too pink for me). I would love to get YSL Libre Le Parfum, haven’t smelled it yet but I love the original and intense so I’m almost sure I’ll like it. And I have a sample of Maison Crivelli Ambre Chromatique on the way!

No question, I could sure go for some Raw Cherry too. 🤤 Seems to be in vogue right now, that accord. Celine's Bois Dormant looks like another decent iris. Shalimar Millesime Tonka is definitely on my list, along with Leatherize, Encens Celeste (if I can get a sample) and 1881 Silver Night. Brand new one from Profumum Roma that I just saw pop up called 'Vir". Woody tobacco with canabis, might be decent.

Raw Cherry has a strong tobacco note I gave it to my son nothing sweet about it trust me it's more for a man lol.
