Definitely more focus on the hue labs aspect. Maybe even creating your own effects within the hue app natively.

The ability to add more lights in entertainment zones plus everything you touched on. The main thing is better bridge to bridge control and more access to customization within the app. But I want my $6g’s of hue lights to change to the music all within the app/desktop sync app.

Definitely need a function to export Hue Bridge data so that if (and when) your bridge breaks you can restore to a new bridge without the trouble of having to try and re-sync all the lights. Definitely agree on the need to integrate Hue labs into the application rather than just as an (almost) separate application. Seamless multi bridge support is also high on my list.

Love the Bridge data idea. Would be handy to have on backup. Hue Labs would be so great engrained the app.

I just hope that they look at all of the other apps that people tend to use as well, or instead of the hue app and try to integrate the usability into one app. At present it can be so confusing when you use one app for one thing and a different app for another control just to get your control of lighting working as you want, the usability should be in the native app without the need for additional control methods. Here's hoping 🤞

I ordered a sync box back in December 2020. The 75 inch gradients were out of stock but I figured get the sync box or it will be gone. It's now May and still no 75" gradient lights strips. Also my $250.00 Signe Floor Lamp went out and customer service was a joke. Actually told me to wrap that thing in bubble wrap and put the ship sticker on it if I cant find a box ! Got it sent back under the pretense they would be sending a replacement. They sent me a check and told me they are out of stock and don't expect any until Sept. They are in stock. I wont be ordering a replacement any time soon and the sync box is going back shortly. Phillips use to be a reputable company as far as customer service.

I just wish Hue Labs ain't have that garbage delay with my other lights whenever I turn on Colorloop. I'm assuming it's cause it's sending out a bunch of different color commands constantly but I'll turn it on and it be having my other lights delayed by like a minute every time I'm just tryna turn em off.

My number one request is animations! Like in the app Thorlight and others (ocean, passing clouds, party, etc, etc). I would also like them to be purchasable through an in-app store, with an open API for developers to add their own. That would create the incentive for this to finally take off.

@spaceman79223 жыл бұрын
I don't like how I can't just set an animation (in a third party app) and just let it live in that space until I change it or turn it off. Not worry about, is the app open in the background, am I leaving the house with my device for a few minutes, etc. I wish hue would incorporate a lot more dynamic lighting options, and let it work from the bridge. There is sooo much potential and it's kind of mind boggling to me they are mostly relying on third parties who want to charge monthly fees out the wazoo for them. Cost aside, why don't they do more with their own product? It doesn't make sense.

Having had the HDMI Switch Box for a while now- and just ordered the new TV4K- I’m disappointed that I’ll have to move it from the switch box and connect directly to my LG 65CX since as far as I know, the switch box doesn’t support HDMI 2.1. Which also means… I’ll have to fork out more money for a new switch box should they decide to upgrade that box… which they should for anyone purchasing it presently. It would be nice if they had a trade in program like they did for the original bridge to move to the current bridge that supports home kit. Here’s me crossing my fingers 🤞 *edits made to misspellings and calling the bridge a hub…
@Justin_tech3 жыл бұрын
I think that would be a great idea. It does seem time for HDMI 2.1 now that gaming consoles and more streaming devices support it.

@@ryanbobroske3907 I plugged my PS5 directly to my tv, since it’s hdmi 2.1 and my tv supports it. But my TiVo and Apple TV 4K and switch are all on the switch box. That being said, the Apple TV 4K is about to be replaced with the new gen which is also hdmi 2.1, so no more pretty colors on the wall with that either. So, despite rumors that there is no replacement with hdmi 2.1 coming, a guy can dream, can’t he?
