Porcupine tree and Steven Wilson are among my all-time favorite bands/musicians. I know you're getting a lot of great recommendations. Enjoy the journey. And I enjoyed your reaction. Another of my all time favorite bands is Marillion. They were around in the 80s but they are still active and even released a new album earlier this year. The first song I would recommend is The Great Escape. My fav from them. Other great ones include Easter, The Invisible Man, Ocean Cloud, Care.....well there are too many to list. But that's a good start.

Hi, this is the last album Chris Maitland drums on. He was then replaced by Gavin Harrison. I recommend Hatesong or Arriving Somewhere But Not Here. Live version is beter.

Brill reaction once again, Russia on ice is a belter, great to also see you drinking a great scotch malt, I do like a Balvenie 😁🥃 I know you said you prefer studio but I so would like you to do Steven Wilson “ancestral” or “luminoil” live performances, watch him own that stage and the music is just fantastic! PT hatesong live also is a must, not sure you have done that one as yet, saw them live last week in London and they were awesome.. enjoying your channel.

The must listen tracks are Arriving Somewhere..., Anesthatize, Fear of a Blank Planet, Dark Matter, Sound of Muzak but honestly there are tons of wonderful tracks - I started putting the good ones onto a memory stick in the car and I am up to 57 songs now and that excludes the tear-jerkers from solo career (Routine/Refuge etc). Couldn't have done that with any other artist. And don't forget the live version is always the best bet

Didn't realize that this song was kind of a throwback to the Sky Moves Sideways era, even though the pop era had started.

Great song. But when reacting to Porcupine Tree I would strongly recommend looking up the live versions. They are, if not better, at least as good as album versions. :)

I need to listen to the pre Gavin albums more, rarely give them a listen other than a select few songs, but this is easily a top 10 PT song

The drummer is Gavin Harrison. Funny you mentioned King Crimson, because he's also their current drummer.
