"Russia on Ice" by Porcupine Tree -- Recovery Reacts!

I wasn’t an alcoholic (Former addict ;D) but this song really got me thinking about the whole cycle of addiction. Steven Wilson obviously has had issues himself or a loved one and he knows EXACTLY how to convey the absolute chaos, the silent suffering, and the absolute waste of life addiction can be. The music they create together is just MAGIC and I can’t get enough (obviously). Gavin absolutely ran this song from start to finish and he is just so SMOOTH with it.
This is for sure a top 5 song by them for me now. So much attention to detail in the music AND in the lyrics. The mood and atmosphere is palpable and you can feel the pain in everything.

This tune was so crazy good to see live! Porcupine Tree is one of the few modern progressive bands that can hold a candle to the classic prog bands of the '70s.

Grab some KZ10's and give them a go. Great entry-level audiophile earphones that are quite cheap. Dankpods cover these on his channel. I bought a pair not long ago and found them to be awesome for the low cost.
