Hello Jakup (please correct my spelling of your ) really like your scits on youtube. please keep them coming. Your video on oil change an maintenance was a real shock coming from a restored 1973 RSR to my present 1995 Carrera RS 3.8 twin plug. Thanks for taking the time.

Hey! Mine is nearly here in oz. amazing that I agree with all your comments and options. I’ve done mine in Racing Yellow as I want mine to be like the hero colour incl in interior in yellow. I didn’t do full bucket as I feel the standard is so good and easier day to day. But manual. This is the quintessential 911 as manual. It makes it 911. Yes, PDK is world’s best practice, but not for the T. Thank you for a really great review, best of all out there. You have the passion that none of the others have.

I would go with GT Silver. Definitely would’ve thrown colored gauges and belts and what not for those pips of color in the interior. Agree with keeping it original-ish due to it being a special edition.

I liked your spec. You could spend hours in Porsche's configurator...lol It was nice to see a Carrera T, that wasn't a yellow, red or Miami blue. Although I think I would go with Speed Yellow. Love to see the video, when you finally get to drive one.

I believe the T has no back seats. its a $0 option if you want to add them back in (Canada) Nice video

Ah! Makes sense! Thanks for that info Walter. I've seen one with back seats recently, but regular sport seats up-front - I just assumed since the carbon buckets do not tilt, rear seats would be unaccessible.

Thanks for watching Stephen! Glad to hear you found it informative :). Yes 127K plus tax for an (intentionally) pretty low option car. I forgot to include why I didn't select PCCBs which would've added another $9K...Oh well. Can't wait to drive one soon. . :)

Hi! Yes, in Sport mode (sport plus on PDK) it rev matches on downshifts. Thanks for tuning in!

Cool video :) I have the same issues with the Porsche configurator as you do. I would get the 911T in a pretty basic spec, not that much different from yours. Funny thing is that where I live, a PDK is actually cheaper than a manual. Reason being cars here are taxed by how much carbon dioxide they produce and the tax benefit of a PDK is greater than it's cost. For a 911T it works out to about a € 6,000 difference. Also we don't get cruise control and floor mats as standard, we have to pay extra for the smoking package and for factory delivery as well.

You really think rear axle steering is needed? I’d take the front axle lift over the rear steering. And standard seats.

Depends on what you're looking for, but yeah, I think I would add that... People rave about the system for track driving so I mentioned it. The standard seats are far more civil that's for sure. Thanks for tuning in.

Jakob,nice job on the VLOG. Glad when building your 911 T , you are choosing WHITE for your next 911...you know all White 911s have 20 more horsepower than all others...and it’s not because I have a white 911. 😜👍🏻

Almost there for me. I’d spend absolutely no money on anything that isn’t performance related. I’d get the carbon ceramics and not get the carbon seats or the fancy interior. I wouldn’t upgrade to the Bose. I’d also delete the side sticker, it’s ugly, and get a set of wheel arch protectors in black. 911 rear designation. That’s it.

I would actually build my “own” Carrera T Get a base/S model Strip it out Bucket seats Gnarly exhaust Maybe lightweight rims and a ecu tune And your are set to go!

Hell yes, I'm sure you can build a crazy 911. The thing with the buckets, light glass and some of those GT options is that they're not available in the other Carreras. A tune on these new turbo charged motors would be mental :O

I was talking about going aftermarket with the options, instead of paying crazy OEM Porsche tax The thing is If you go that route The product, in my opinion, would be more "mini GT2" than a poor man's R But that is not a bad thing in my books!

Sadly only 20kg lighter, they should have thrown in some lightweight wheels although the brakes are nice. Also not sure why you would get a T and put a roofrack on it :/ The T was a marketing exercises IMO your spec was nice though

You missed the most important update completely of a 991 Carrera T imho. The PCCBs! The Carrera T has the base Carrera steel breaks and this is the biggest achilles heal of this car. I cannot understand they did not give it the Carrera S steel breaks as standard with all the other ridiculous stuff they gave this car. My spec would have had the PCCBs, the 918 Carbon seats and the manual of course. If I would have bought one at all that is... The Carrera T imho is just a marketing gimmick with some ridiculous plays around weight saving and mot much more. The actual weight saving of a Carrera T versus a base Carrera is pointless. But sure, this like any other "special Porsche" will get all the attention anyhow for "just how special it is" even though it is more or less just a couple of stickers and a package based on what they have left in the parts bin.

If Porsche was serious about weight reduction it would have a sticker for a badge. Get real! A GT3 rear window and door handle straps are a joke.

Thanks for watching! Yeah man, they have models with sticker badges, magnesium and carbon bits...but you have to spend almost 3x 911T money for one and be lucky enough to be allocated one. I think this is more of a base model Carrera "stripper" with light glass and GT details story than the "ultimate light weight Porsche exercise" available today...

Best I can tell the T is just a marketing gimmick, and no more a track weapon than a Carrera or Carrera S with similar specs. Also no one would get those seats for just a daily driver, it makes no sense. They are great track seats and that's it.

I agree on the seats..what a pain to get in and out of - i can just imagine how annoying this would become on a daily driver ha. The 911T a gimmick? I guess, but a lot of what Porsche does lately is pretty gimmicky... (991.2 Endurance Edition - did you get one of those in your market? it's commical). I think with the lightened glass, less sound deadening, a manual with shorter final drive, PCM delete, rear seat delete, carbon buckets, would (relatively speaking) provide you with a "stripper" and more raw experience vs regular Carrera and CarreraS.. ...Everyone that has reviewed this car says it's sharp and delivers on the claimed "rawness". I mentioned it's a "track weapon", because from my understanding a bunch of these were sold to clients who will be specifically putting them on a track. Thanks for tuning in! :)

I love 911s, but don't like the new iteration with the turbo'd 3 liter. Drove one and it didn't do nothing for me. The only porsche I would aspire to own in terms of a modern 911 would be a GT3. Forget the rest...

It's only 20kg's lighter than the standard Carrera, so calling it a 'true lightweight' is a bit of a stretch. Great car though.

It's an informal greeting that goes hand in hand with vlog-style content in my opinion. "Hello" would be too rigid I think. I tried Hello and Hi when I was working on my greeting, and it sounds so strange. I can't get it to be natural and realistic. Thanks for tuning in Mr Big.

Did you watch it to the end? It's 20 mins because of the build at the end was pretty much a single take and takes a long time. All of my videos have (amateur) cinematic montages interlaced with some narrative...definitely not after each sentence. Not sure what to tell you bud, you could just change the channel?

Yes, so many insanely cool cars you can get with $150K. I think 150K is an emotional decision; some people will choose this 911T and others a used AMG GT or GTS...I'm not sure you have your numbers right though; a AMG GTR around here is another 100K+ over this Porsche. Thanks for watching. Cheers
